Can you help in understanding the use of Assistive Technology?
We are conducting a survey on behalf of the World Health Organisation (WHO) to understand the use of assistive technology (AT) in the UK, and we would like to hear from you.
Today, 1 billion people need AT to lead productive, inclusive, and dignified lives, but only 1 in 10 people globally have access to the AT they need. AT is any device, software, or equipment that helps people complete their daily activities, for example, glasses, hearing aids, prostheses, wheelchairs and text-to-speech software.
This survey involves answering a set of questions from a questionnaire via a telephone. The rapid Assistive Technology Assessment (rATA) questionnaire, which assesses the need, the unmet need and the barriers to accessing AT. Data collected from this survey will provide valuable information on the use of AT in the UK.
