Residents enjoyed a pleasant afternoon taking part in our Happy Hour. They were offered a selection of wine and light nibbles while spending time together in a relaxed and sociable environment. Residents engaged in conversations, enjoyed each other’s company and appeared to have a lovely time. The activity provided an opportunity for social interaction, relaxation and enjoyment.

The activity encouraged gentle physical movement and provided an enjoyable opportunity for residents to stay active. The weather certainly smiled on us… perhaps just a little too much! 🌞 Our feet may be aching, but our hearts are full and our smiles are even bigger.

It was so lovely to see so many of our wonderful families come together to celebrate with us. The laughter, conversations, music, and precious moments shared reminded us what Mountbatten Grange is all about – creating a place filled with love, friendship, and happy memories.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing chefs, lifestyle team and every member of our dedicated team. Your hard work, enthusiasm, and kindness made the day such a success, and we couldn't have done it without you. 💜

But our biggest thank you goes to our incredible residents and their families. Thank you for filling the day with joy, laughter, and love. You are the reason we do what we do, and it was a privilege to celebrate alongside you.

Our brand-new Knitting Club has gone down a storm here at Mountbatten Grange! 💙

Residents thoroughly enjoyed spending time together, reminiscing about the days when they lovingly knitted jumpers, scarves, blankets, and other handmade garments for their families and loved ones. It brought back so many treasured memories and sparked wonderful conversations.

Even more special was seeing our residents sharing their knowledge and teaching the younger generation this timeless skill. Watching experience, creativity, and friendship come together across generations was truly heartwarming.

A wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, learning, and plenty of knitting—we can't wait for the next session! 🧶✨

At Mountbatten Grange Care Home, we were delighted to welcome our wonderful therapy dog, Hetty. 💛

Her gentle nature brought smiles, comfort, and companionship to everyone she met. Residents enjoyed spending quiet time with Hetty, sharing moments of calm, reflection, and relaxation as she made her way around the home.

Our residents at Mountbatten Grange Care Home enjoyed a lovely afternoon exploring the sights of Windsor, taking in the magnificent Windsor Castle and the tranquil beauty of the River Thames.

It was a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, reminisce about cherished memories, and spend quality time together in such a picturesque setting. Seeing so many smiles and hearing wonderful stories made the day even more special.
