Thank you to our community for rallying around this scheme to help make a huge difference to this important charity whilst disposing of our waste responsibly🙏

ME is a complex, disabling condition that affects multiple body systems. An estimated 1.35 million people in the UK live with ME or ME-like symptoms, and 1 in 4 people are so severely affected that they are housebound or bedbound because of the illness🧡

The funds raised from the ink cartridge recycling scheme help Action for ME provide information, support and healthcare services to help people manage their ME and work to secure change for the future by funding biomedical research🔬🧡

You can still get involved! Boxes remain in the waiting rooms at Burton and Winterton Medical Practice to recycle your cartridges, and thanks to match funding from the Winterton and District Lions each cartridge recycled generates a donation of up to £4, so please keep popping them in the boxes! The following cartridges can be accepted:

Yes: Small household inkjet cartridges (used or unused).
No: Please: No large office toners.
