Car Park Update

Unfortunately, there have been several unforeseen challenges with the repair of the collapsed section of the wall, many of which were not discovered until rebuilding began. We have had to employ the services of a structural engineer to complete a full structural assessment of the wall and its foundations to ensure that any proposed building work is suitable and safe, whilst also ensuring that it maintains the visual aesthetic as a Grade 2 listed building. Due to these challenges, we are estimating that the wall will be completed by the end of September 2026. Until this time, the car park will remain closed for vehicles.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Water supply issues - 04.08.26

Please be aware that we are now up and running again as normal and water has been restored to the building.

We thank you for your patience during this time.

Water supply issues - 04.08.26

Please be aware that we have very little water supply in the building today, so will be operating a telephone consultation service only.
Those that have appointments already booked today will be contacted by telephone and only patients that are of critical need of being seen face to face will be brought in face to face.
We have very little running water and no patient toilets so cannot operate safely for all face to face patients.

Home visiting team and leg ulcer clinics will still be operating and our Pharmacy and Dispensary are still open

You can still submit a triage request, however this will be dealt with over the phone.

Proxy Access to children's records

Please be aware that their was a recent Government change to allow children from age 13 to access their own records, instead of 16. Should parents/carers wish to have access to their child's record and they are over 13, then consent will need to be given by the child.

Do you need vaccinations before you travel?

If so, then please contact the Practice at least 8 weeks before your planned travel date.

Before an appointment can be arranged, patients should complete the travel consultation form with all the required information and return it to reception.

This timeframe allows us to safely assess each patient on an individual basis, taking into account their medical history, travel destination, previous vaccination history, and the vaccinations required for their trip.

Unfortunately, if patients contact us with less than 8 weeks' notice, we cannot guarantee that there will be sufficient time to provide the full course of vaccinations or ensure complete vaccine coverage before they travel.
