“This is Caédi she was born full term but was ventilated at birth and spent just over 24 hours in NICU with your amazing nurses, she was known as the girl with all the hair 🤣 it’s her 1st birthday today and she is thriving and meeting every mile stone, we didn’t know what the future held the day she was born but thanks to your amazing nurses and doctors our beautiful girl is doing amazing, I don’t even know the names of the nurses that looked after her as it was all a bit of a blur but yous will always be so special to me and her dad, yous are amazing at what yous do 🩷”

“Twin girls born 15th Feb Faith weighing 1lbs 14oz and Hope weighing 2lbs 2oz. Sadly Faith didnt make it she passed on the 17th Feb so is has been mixed emotions but we had to stay stong for Hope as she was still fighting. Thanks to the amazing team at neonatal our little Hope got stronger and stronger and got home on 8th of May on oxygen and is doing well. We will never forget our wee Faith and all the help and support from everyone thank you so much for everything and all the suport we are still receiving 💜🩷”

“Luna was born 9th June 2025 and spent 3 days in your neonatal unit, and spent a further 2 days on ward with myself coming to you for antibiotics after she inhaled meconoum and has some issues with her breathing 🤦🏻‍♀️ born to be a trouble maker from the moment she was out! From pulling off her mask, to pulling out her tubes and fighting with the staff, to crawling at 4 months old, walking at 9 months and running everyone up the walls! She especially loves to chase and boss her big brothers around ❤️

Luna was born just 3 days after my Dad passed away, and it was a pretty hard time being away from my other kids, but there staff were absolutely amazing and kept me from spiralling. For that, I will always be truly grateful! Thank you all again for everything you did for us, especially Luna. It was, and anyways will be, very much appreciated ❤️”

✨ 22+4 weeks ➡️ Primary 1 ✨

A very special update from one of our NICU families ❤️

Sofia arrived far earlier than anyone could have imagined at just 22 weeks + 4 days, weighing only 500g. A tiny little girl with the biggest fight ahead of her.

Fast forward to today… and Sofia has officially graduated nursery and is getting ready for her next big adventure — starting Primary 1 🎓📚

She is now a happy, caring and determined little girl who loves dancing, learning new things and playing with her little sister. A beautiful reminder that behind every incubator, every wire and every tiny hand held in NICU, there is a whole future waiting to unfold.

To Sofia and her family — thank you for sharing your journey with us. It is a privilege to watch our smallest babies grow, achieve and reach milestones we once all dreamed about at the cot side.

From 500g to school uniform… what an amazing journey. Keep shining, Sofia, just like you always have✨❤️

A little update on Kallie-Jo ♥️

“Kallie-Jo was born at 28 weeks. A whole 12 weeks too early. She went through multiple blood transfusions, sepsis, PICC lines, IVs, blood draws, ventilations, resuscitations , CPAP and more. Here she is today, thriving, driving us crazy…. And graduating from nursery ready for BIG SCHOOL AND PRIMARY 1. She wouldn’t be here without the amazing support from our NICU and SCBU family who quite literally GAVE her a life to live. She was saved so many times by you guys and I’m so grateful I now get a lifetime with her to spend all these special moments❤️”

Born at just 26 weeks, this beautiful young lady Eva started her journey in NICU… and now here she is, all grown up and heading off to her prom 💕

Moments like these are the reason we do what we do. Every incubator, every tiny nappy, every little milestone leads to days like this.

Once a NICU baby, always part of our NICU family 🩷
