Join me for a special Mother + Daughter Stretch & Sound Session on the afternoon of Sunday 18th October — a chance to slow down, get cosy, relax and have some fun together.

Enjoy gentle stretches, a magical sound journey with crystal bowls, rain chimes, drum & more, followed by 20 minutes of playful instrument exploration where you can make some beautiful sounds together.

👧 Recommended for daughters aged 7–14 (but flexible, feel free to reach out with Q’s)

We all know how living goes! It’s busy, the days and weeks fly by. When was the last time you truly spent some quality, intentional time with your partner?

Through gentle partner-assisted stretching, mindful touch, guided connection practices and shared breath, you’ll be invited to deepen your sense of closeness.

We’ll finish with a deeply relaxing sound bath, resting side by side as the body softens, the mind quietens and you simply enjoy being together.

Yesterday morning I had the pleasure of hosting a private Sound Bath for five lifelong friends, celebrating a very special birthday. 🤍

Friends for many years, they had come together to surprise their friend with a morning of rest, connection and sound.

A different experience to the usual, infact they make it a ritual to experience something new or fun for each birthday - I love this!

Afterwards, they shared how peaceful and deeply relaxed they felt.

But one thing one of them said really stayed with me…

She realised just how much noise surrounds her every day.

The TV. The radio. Music. Something always playing in the background. Choosing a podcast when walking…. The list goes on…. If you think about it we are filling the space so much of the time.

And it made me think about how rarely we actually experience true stillness.

We fill our days with noise and distractions, often without even noticing.

So when everything suddenly becomes quiet, that stillness can almost feel uncomfortable… alarming for some.

But perhaps that’s exactly why we need it.

A moment to stop. To breathe. To listen.
To let the nervous system regulate. To simply be.

There was something really beautiful about watching these five friends give themselves permission to slow down together.

And what a lovely way to celebrate a birthday — not with more doing but simply being, honouring rest.

What a gift that is 💝

I may be a little late with my usual monthly What’s On post, but August has been a bit of a whirlwind. But I’m back from a well needed holiday and ready for the final stretch of the month!

I don’t even know where to begin! W A S I N G

This setting, 20 wonderful souls, the conversations shared, swimming, sauna radiance, the most perfect weather, new connections, nervous systems settling, smiles on peoples faces, the energy of the gong outside and birdsong in the background while fish jump out of the water & simply spending 3 hours in one of my favourite places…. ✨

So grateful for last Saturday! I’ll be back here hosting more events next year and more outside nature experiences to come 🌱💧✨

The Sound Immersion ✨

📍Held every month, on the first Sunday, 6.30pm The Bisley Yurt | Yurtie & Enchanted Studio hosted by Jessica Serendía Wellness | Jessica Barker.

A place to gather collectively for deep rest. A group session dedicated to therapeutic sound, increasing peace within, clearing the mental load and re connecting to self.

If you’re feeling called to experience the benefits of sound therapy, I encourage you to take a little time to research the practitioner you’re choosing. Sound is a powerful therapeutic modality and the depth of a practitioner’s training, knowledge and experience can make all the difference in creating a safe, supportive and meaningful experience.

As a fully qualified, diploma-certified Sound Therapist, I’ve dedicated many hours over the years to professional training, case studies and continued development. I’ve invested deeply in learning along side incredible teachers, and not only the art of sound, but also the science and therapeutic application behind it, so that every sound immersion I offer is held with care, integrity and intention.

When you choose to work with me, you’re choosing an experience grounded in professional training, compassion and a genuine commitment to your wellbeing. 💛

If you prefer a more intimate personal experience, I offer 1:1 sessions too at my peaceful garden studio in Bisley (round the corner from the Yurt).

Lovely to be back at Pennyhill Park last night to host another seasonal Yoga & Sound event ✨🙏🏼

A little practice / connection to sound before I started, playing here the D note bowl with the Monochord which is tuned to A, High D and low D so is a great pairing.

Both grounding & harmonious ✨
