June Appointments Remaining
At Discover Difference, we believe neurodevelopmental assessments deserve time, care, curiosity, and nuance.
Assessment should never feel like a tick-box exercise.
Many people arrive at assessment having spent months—or years—researching, reflecting, questioning, and trying to understand themselves or their child. We value that lived experience and see it as an important part of the assessment process alongside our clinical expertise.
Our Clinical Psychologist-led assessments are designed to explore the whole picture. We take time to understand developmental history, strengths, differences, challenges, and context. We recognise that autism and ADHD can present in many different ways, and that every individual is unique.
Just as importantly, we are not afraid to say when we don't believe a neurodevelopmental diagnosis is the best explanation. A thorough assessment should remain open-minded throughout the process, following the evidence wherever it leads.
Whether the outcome is a diagnosis or not, our aim is that individuals and families leave with greater understanding, clarity, and practical recommendations.
We currently have:
⭐ 1 child assessment appointment remaining in June
⭐ 3 adult assessment appointments remaining in June
We also offer post-diagnostic support for both adults and parents, helping people make sense of their profile and move forward with confidence and self-compassion.
We have a clinic in Stroud, Wokingham and Southampton but focus on keeping our clinic small and bespoke rather than completing high volume assessments. We carefully select our clinicians, many of whom have lived experience or family experience of neurodivergence.
