🌍✨ Celebrating Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging at Alexandra Grange! ✨🌍

Yesterday was a wonderful celebration of the cultures, traditions and individuality that make our Alexandra Grange family so special.

Our team brought in an amazing selection of traditional dishes from their cultures to share with one another, giving everyone the chance to try something new and learn a little more about each other.

The celebrations continued with a fantastic fashion show for residents, where team members proudly showcased their beautiful traditional dress👗🌎

Thank you to our brilliant Dementia Care Manager, Kelly for organising the event. It was a great afternoon and a lovely reminder that our differences are something to be celebrated 💕

💜 Join Us for Our Monthly Dementia Support Group - Tea With Us 💜

We warmly invite you to join us tomorrow, Tuesday 11th August, from 2pm–3pm, for our monthly Dementia Support Group, hosted by our Dementia Care Manager, Kelly.

Our group offers a friendly, relaxed and supportive space for anyone who has a loved one living with dementia. Whether you’re looking for advice, have questions, would like to share experiences, or simply want to chat with others who understand, you are very welcome to join us.

A HUGE congratulations to our amazing Care Assistant, Muly, who recently took to the skies and completed an incredible skydive in support of Kidney Care UK 🎉👏

Muly originally set herself a fundraising target of just £400… but thanks to the fantastic support she received, she has absolutely smashed it and raised an incredible £2,080! 🤩

We are so proud of Muly for taking on such a brave challenge and raising such an amazing amount for a very worthy cause.

Residents and team have put so much love, care and hard work into our gardens this year, so we’re absolutely thrilled to have our very own award winning sunflower standing tall and proud!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Summer BBQ yesterday! ☀️

It was wonderful to see so many residents, families, team members and local professionals coming together to enjoy a fantastic afternoon filled with great food and fun. Head Chef, Leanne and the Hospitality Team really did an amazing job!

We’re also delighted to have raised funds for Wokingham Link Visiting Scheme (Total TBC). Thank you to everyone who donated, bought raffle tickets and supported this wonderful cause. Your generosity will help us continue making meaningful connections and reducing loneliness for older people.

🌍 Our Taste of the World journey recently took us to the beautiful island of Cyprus.

Residents enjoyed a wonderful culinary adventure as we explored the delicious flavours, rich culture and warm hospitality that Cyprus is famous for.

Our Taste of the World events are always a highlight, giving everyone the opportunity to discover new cultures, reminisce about past travels, and of course, enjoy some amazing food 😋
