At Sincerity we do more than care, being family run we do everything from the bottom of our hearts. I’m Sarah, founder of Sincerity Funerals in Wolverhampton.

My family and I watched my mother slowly deteriorate and die of cancer. We were broken, but found some comfort in the fact that she was pain free and finally at peace. As she lay in her bed, the hospice staff asked, “Who is your funeral director?” I looked at my dear old mom; even though we knew this day would come, neither of us had actually sat and discussed the inevitable. With no funeral plans in place, and no estate to pay for a ‘dignified funeral’, I set about arranging my mother’s funeral. It was very stressful, confusing and time consuming. Time that should have been spent grieving, not worrying about expense verses dignity. I did however successfully arrange my mother’s funeral for far less than the ‘estimated costs’ of the familiar high street Funeral Directors. I gave my mom the good send off she deserved, but for a price that my family could afford. This was the humble beginnings of Sincerity Funerals. We have now helped hundreds of families to be able to say goodbye to their loved ones without compromise. Priding ourselves on forming a close bond with our clients and our aim is to put you at ease at what can be the most testing of times. Our packages range from direct cremation to completely bespoke all with completely transparent pricing. We know that choosing a Funeral Director can be a very difficult decision to make. With large national providers, you may never meet the people making the arrangements. With a local, family-run funeral director like ourselves, you can meet the team and know who to turn to.

That personal service can also cost considerably less than you might expect. Our direct cremation is £1,195, including personal support with the arrangements. You can sit down with us in our office over a cup of tea, or we can visit you at home—whichever feels more comfortable.

For us, a simple “thank you” is always more than enough. Being trusted to care for someone so deeply loved and support their family through one of life’s most difficult times is a privilege in itself.

This lovely family recently surprised us with these thoughtful gifts and a beautiful heart keepsake. At a time when they are experiencing so much themselves, the fact that they took the time to think of us was incredibly touching.

The heart now hangs proudly in our funeral home, where its special words will remind us of this wonderful family and the trust they placed in our care.

Many people will have seen the deeply upsetting news concerning the Independent Funeral Director in Hull. Our thoughts are first and foremost with every family affected by this unimaginable betrayal of trust.

We understand that news like this may leave people feeling worried about what happens to their loved one once they are placed in the care of a funeral director.

At Sincerity Funerals, we believe families deserve complete honesty, openness and reassurance. We have an open-door approach, and families are always welcome to visit our funeral home, meet our team and, by prior arrangement, see our facilities—including the areas where those entrusted to us are cared for. Visits are arranged carefully to protect the dignity and privacy of every person in our care.

Please never be afraid to ask questions about how or where your loved one is being looked after. We will always explain every step clearly and honestly.

Caring for someone’s loved one is one of the greatest responsibilities a funeral director can be given. It is a trust we will never take for granted.

A final journey for Luke Davis 🕊️

It was an honour to drive our hearse through the Wolverhampton Wanderers FC concourse as part of the final farewell for a much-loved young man.

It was an incredibly emotional day, but Luke was given the wonderful send-off he deserved. He was a good man who was loved by so many, and the number of people who came together to remember him showed just how much he meant to everyone who knew him.

Our thoughts remain with Luke’s family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. Thank you for trusting us.

Rest peacefully, Luke. You will never be forgotten. 💛🕊️
