🌼🎉 Bingo Joy in the Garden Room! 🎉🌼

We had such a bright and cheerful morning here at Atholl House today as our residents gathered in the garden room for a lively game of bingo. The room was full of laughter, friendly chatter, and plenty of excitement with every number called.

Everyone played brilliantly, but we had three very lucky winners who took home today’s prizes lots of smiles and happy cheers all around!

It was a wonderful, feel‑good day from start to finish, filled with fun, positivity, and shared moments that made the whole home sparkle. 🌟

📣Harvest Festival – Updated Date

Oops, our apologies to all residents and relatives.
It has been necessary to change the date of our Harvest Festival.
It will not be held on Monday 7th September.

Our Harvest Festival will now take place on 28th September 2026 at 11am in the Garden Room.
We look forward to sharing a lovely morning together don’t forget to join us.

📚 Book Club Day at Atholl House

Our lovely residents enjoyed a peaceful Book Club Day together, spending time reading through their favourite books and looking at the beautiful pictures inside.

Nature scenes and historical places were the biggest favourites they sparked wonderful memories and conversations about the old days, bringing lots of smiles and moments of reflection.

It was a calm, cosy afternoon filled with stories, memories, and shared enjoyment. 💛

🎈 Balloon Tennis Fun at Atholl House 🎈

Our residents had a wonderful time taking part in a friendly game of balloon tennis. We set up a little net and split everyone into two teams, and the competition began with lots of laughter and cheering from both sides.

Everyone played brilliantly and really got into the spirit of the game. It was lovely to see so much teamwork, smiles, and gentle exercise all rolled into one fun activity.

After a close match, Team B took the win but both teams enjoyed every moment.

Well done to all our amazing residents for making it such a joyful afternoon.

🌸A joyful day at Atholl House!
Our lovely Hazel, who joined us with a fracture, has healed brilliantly. Her daughter and grandson have been amazing support, and our staff are proud to have helped her through her recovery.

Hazel is heading home today a true success story. We will miss her kindness and her smile, and she will always have a place here with us.

Thank you to her daughter for the thoughtful card, sweet messages, and delicious chocolates for the team. They were very much appreciated! 💐🍫

🌼 A Lovely Outing for Gurdev 🌼

Today our lovely resident Gurdev enjoyed a gentle trip to the Asda shopping centre. She spent time exploring the aisles and watching all the different things around her. It was a relaxed outing, and she enjoyed being out in the community.

We’re always pleased to support moments like these for our residents.

🌼🎲 Table‑Top Games Fun at Atholl House!

Our lovely residents spent a joyful afternoon playing table‑top games together, filling the garden room with laughter, chatter, and plenty of friendly competition. It was wonderful to see everyone fully engaged, smiling, and enjoying each other’s company.

These simple moments of play bring so much happiness and connection . A fun time was had by all 💛

🎉💐 A Wonderful 88th Birthday Celebration for Our Lovely Pauline

We had the joy of celebrating Pauline’s 88th birthday and what a beautiful day it was. Surrounded by staff and her loving family, Pauline enjoyed every moment filled with smiles, warm wishes, and heartfelt togetherness.
