EC Therapy wasn’t built from confidence.
It was built from survival, determination, and the desperate hope that one day life would feel lighter.

There were moments I genuinely didn’t think I could carry on — emotionally, financially, mentally.

Many people living with ADHD or Autism experience chronic muscle tension and pain—but it’s often misunderstood.

This isn’t just about posture, workouts, or “holding stress.”
It’s linked to how the nervous system processes and responds to the world.

When the body spends more time in a heightened state of alertness (fight or flight), muscles stay slightly contracted, recovery is reduced, and tension can build over time.

Add in differences in body awareness, and it’s easy for that tension to go unnoticed… until it becomes discomfort or pain.

Many people think massage simply relaxes muscles, but it also has a powerful effect on the nervous system — especially the vagus nerve, which plays a key role in helping the body switch from stress mode into rest and repair.

When we are busy, stressed, or overwhelmed, the body can stay in a constant state of tension. This keeps the nervous system on high alert and can contribute to poor sleep, muscle tightness, fatigue and anxiety.

Massage therapy helps stimulate the vagus nerve through gentle, rhythmic touch and slow, calming movements. This encourages the body to shift into a parasympathetic state — the state where healing and recovery can happen.
