If youâre stuck in the cycle of pain â rest â feel better â stop your rehab â pain returnsâŚ
Youâre not failing.
Youâre simply treating the symptoms instead of building a body that can handle more.
One of the biggest misconceptions I see as a soft tissue therapist is that rehabilitation ends when the pain settles. In reality, thatâs when the most important work begins.
Effective rehabilitation isnât about doing dozens of complicated exercises. Itâs about consistently improving your bodyâs strength, mobility and capacity so everyday life, work, the gym and even playing with your children become easier.
Whether youâre dealing with back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, hip pain, knee pain or recurring muscle tightness, lasting recovery comes from gradually increasing what your body can tolerate, not waiting until youâre in pain again.
If youâve been restarting your rehab every Monday, it might be time for a different approach.
At HM Therapeutics in Wolverhampton, I help busy professionals move beyond temporary pain relief with structured soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation and movement plans designed to create long-term results.
Iâd love to knowâŚ
