Lets talk about Plantar fasciitis!🦶
That annoying and niggling pain around your heel and arch of your foot after long periods of standing or walking. It is caused by the inflammation of the plantar fascia, a thick web-like ligament that acts as a shock absorber and connects your heel and front foot.
There are many treatments that can help alleviate the symptoms, such as icing and rest (RICE) in order to reduce swelling and inflammation.
But there is also another handy trick that can help with this painful and persistent foe...
Just simply rolling a golf or hockey ball around under your foot can help relax the surrounding structures and help target crucial trigger points that can alleviate tension and pressure. It may not be the most comfortable technique but it can solve the problem and get you back on your feet!
