A Prime Minister has finally said it: there is no National Care Service without the care workforce.

Today's speech on adult social care put workers at the heart of reform, with a fully funded commitment to follow. We're genuinely excited, not just by the ambition, but by the promise to see it through where 22 previous attempts at reform have stalled.

Our own evidence shows why this matters. Of the 2,000+ care workers who responded to our 2025 Wellbeing Survey, 72% don't feel financially secure, 57% point to low pay as the main reason, and almost one in four have used a food bank.

Care workers give so much of themselves to people who become like family. It's time they had a system that gives something back.

How to recognise a seizure 👀
Sudden confusion or staring
Uncontrollable jerking movements
Loss of awareness
Collapse or stiffness

How to help 🆘
Stay calm and keep them safe
Move object away
Place something soft underneath their head
Place into the recovery position after seizure
DO NOT put anything in their mouth

Call for help if 📲
