Specialising in Knee Osteoarthritis
Knee pain isn't just about getting older. It is about understanding what's driving your symptoms and finding the right treatment for you.
This image captures one of my favourite parts of assessing patients with knee osteoarthritis: using diagnostic ultrasound to explain exactly what's happening inside the knee.
Rather than simply discussing scan results, I use live ultrasound during your appointment to talk you through your anatomy in real time. Together, we can look at the structures around the knee, discuss how osteoarthritis affects the joint, and explain why you're experiencing pain and stiffness.
I believe that when patients understand their diagnosis, they feel more confident making decisions about treatment and become more engaged in their recovery.
As a physiotherapist with a special interest in knee osteoarthritis, every assessment is designed to identify the factors contributing to your symptoms and create a personalised management plan.
This may include:
✅ Education about your condition
✅ Exercise and rehabilitation
✅ Diagnostic ultrasound assessment
✅ Ultrasound-guided injections, including corticosteroid, hyaluronic acid (such as Cingal and Monovisc), and Arthrosamid
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to knee osteoarthritis. My goal is to help you understand your condition, reduce your pain, improve your movement, and keep you doing the things you enjoy for as long as possible.
