On Friday 28th August, we had an absolute blast at Cavell Manor!

We kicked off the afternoon with a delicious BBQ, making the most of the lovely weather while it lasted. With full tummies and happy faces, it was then time for the bar to open and the fun to really begin!
We were delighted to welcome the wonderful Kimberly and her daughter, who entertained us throughout the afternoon with some fantastic live singing. Before long, everyone was dancing, singing along, toe-tapping and clapping their hands to all our favourite songs!
There were smiles all around, plenty of laughter, and such a wonderful sense of togetherness. It truly was an afternoon filled with fun, friendship, music and happy memories.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the afternoon so special. We certainly had a wonderful time together, and we can't wait for the next one!

Yesterday we celebrated our lovely Yatri as she begins her maternity leave! 💕👶
We had a wonderful baby shower filled with fun games, delicious cakes, beautiful decorations, and lots of laughter to mark this very special occasion.
We will all miss Yatri while she's away and hope she enjoys every precious moment as she prepares to welcome her little one into the world.
From everyone at Cavell Manor, we wish Yatri and her growing family all the love, happiness, and best wishes for this exciting new chapter. We can't wait to meet the newest addition! 💖✨

What a fantastic way to start the day! 💪
This morning we were delighted to welcome Julie from Gfitness for a fun-filled exercise session packed with great music, movement, and plenty of smiles! We stretched, strengthened our muscles, and kept our bodies active while singing along to some favourite tunes. 🎵
After all our hard work, we enjoyed some well-earned refreshments and a lovely catch-up together.
There was lots of laughter, singing, chatting, and, of course, a great workout! A brilliant morning was had by everyone, and we can't wait to do it all again!

🎶💙 Mamma Mia... Here We Go Again! 💙🎶

What a fantastic Mamma Mia Day we've had! Cavell Manor Care Home was transformed into a little slice of Greece as residents and staff dressed up in fabulous Mamma Mia-inspired costumes, sang along to ABBA's greatest hits, danced, laughed, and enjoyed a day full of fun together. 🇬🇷✨Our singer Chelsea was amazing.

From sparkly outfits to flower crowns, everyone looked amazing and fully embraced the spirit of the day! It was wonderful to see so many smiles, happy faces, and special memories being made. Well done to our winners for Best dancing queen Rita, Best singer Gill but Kay can definitely knock out a few tunes! And Steph for her very original flippers and snorkel costume!

We also raised a massive £163 for our selected charity which is 'Young carers', a charity very close to our hearts. We will still be collecting till the end of the week.

A big thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the day such a success. Sometimes all you need is great music, great company, and a little bit of sparkle! 💃🕺

We hope everyone's dusting off their flares, polishing their dancing shoes, and warming up those singing voices because it's almost time for our Mamma Mia! Themed Party this Saturday!

Get ready for an afternoon filled with ABBA classics, dancing, laughter, and plenty of feel good fun. Whether you're a Dancing Queen or just here for the music, we can't wait to celebrate together!
