Yesterday, we enjoyed two lovely trips out to some of our favourite local spots!

First, we headed off to pick fresh strawberries for our upcoming Suffolk Day lunch on Friday. Afterwards, we treated ourselves to an ice cream along the beautiful Aldeburgh seafront and made the most of the glorious sunshine.

In the afternoon, we enjoyed a picnic at Woodbridge Quay, taking in the stunning scenery while spotting local wildlife and wildflowers along the way.

It was a wonderful day spent making special memories with our amazing residents.

Today and yesterday we have First Aid Training at Cavell.

It is a really helpful and informative day for all the staff, giving us the chance to refresh our knowledge, learn new skills, and build confidence in dealing with emergency situations.

It’s always great to take part in training like this, especially knowing how important it is for the safety and wellbeing of our residents. Everyone gets involved and works really well together throughout the session.

A big thank you to the trainer and to all the staff who took part yesterday and today!

This morning we headed to Woodbridge Football Club for the Memory Café. We enjoyed delicious cake, tea and coffee, along with wonderful live music from Alan Mann. We all sang along, shared plenty of laughs, and had a brilliant morning in such lovely company! 🥰

Just to say a massive thank u to all the staff, residents and relatives for making today so so special. Was the most overwhelming surprise and best pre-wedding party we could have wished for. Thank u also for our beautiful cards and gifts. So much love to u all. My Cavell family ###
