Another fantastic lobster workshop completed on a beautiful summer Aldeburgh beach today, as part of our programme of ☀️

Today we focused on prepping lobsters for the table and learning about their ecology, sustainability and how we fish for them 🦞The guys then took their dressed lobsters home with them and what a great job they did 👏🏻👏🏻

We finished off with an oyster shucking session with Pinney's Of Orford Pinney’s Of Orford and a very pleasant glass or two of crisp, chilled white 🥂

We’ll be running our shellfish experiences - beach workshops and sh*****ng safaris until October, so if you fancy a couple of hours on the beach immersed in the finest seafood the Suffolk Heritage Coast has to offer, then this is definitely for you 🦞🦀🦐🦪

🦐Sh*****ng Update🦐

We have just a few spaces left on our Sh*****ng Safari on Saturday September 12th on the Suffolk Heritage Coast.

This is a chance for young and old to come and have a lot of fun paddling in the surf, hunting the elusive brown shrimp and learning about the ecology and environment of our shoreline and the importance of the communities that harvest the sea 🦐🐟🦀🦞🦪

All tuition, guidance and equipment provided - absolutely no experience necessary, just prepare to get wet 💦💦😉

We finish up a seafood picnic with catch 👌🏻🦐

Well, it’s been a while coming and thank you for your patience! But, we’ve reintroduced the ever-popular ‘Sh*****ng Safari Experience’ at low tide on the spectacular Suffolk Heritage Coast 🦐🦐🦐

Join me as we paddle leisurely through the shallows, foraging for the delicious brown shrimps using a traditional push net method and discovering other sea-life along the way 🦐🐟

No experience needed - full tuition, guidance and equipment provided, just bring your beach shoes and prepare to get wet! 😉🙌🏻

At the end of the session, we cook up our catch and finish with a beach picnic and a glass of wine 🥂🦐

Currently, we’re booking for Sat September 12th 4pm-6pm, but depending on demand we can look at other dates 🤔🦐 Full T&C’s on booking.

If you love your seafood, then why not spend a couple of indulgent hours with us on the beach, learning how to prepare fresh fish and shellfish and allow us to demystify the process of selecting, buying and eating seafood in your own home.

Learn about how important our local fishing industry is to our communities and how over time, fishing has shaped the incredible landscape and character of our coastal towns and villages.. 😊🌅

Or - if getting to grips with crabs and lobsters isn’t you’re thing, then join me on a guided beach walk, where we unveil and discover the history and heritage of our coast and uncover the secrets of our local flora and fauna 🐟🐦🐚

Workshops are £90/person inclusive of ingredients, tuition and a glass of wine for a 2hr session. Max 6 people

Beach walks are £25/person for an hour’s walk max 10 people.
