We enjoyed a wonderfully peaceful morning sketching in the garden! Jonathan, Rosemary, Margaret B, Linda and Diana all enjoyed getting creative, using nothing but their imaginations and the beautiful surroundings around them for inspiration. 🎨🌳

With the fresh air, warm sunshine and such a lovely atmosphere, it was the perfect morning to sit back, relax and enjoy some creativity. 🌞💐

It was especially lovely seeing everyone’s different sketches and seeing how each person had their own unique ideas and imagination. We were so impressed with everyone’s wonderful creations! 💕🖼️

💙 A Very Special Yoga Session with Jess 💙

Another wonderful yoga session with our lovely Jess! 🧘‍♀️🌸 Everyone had an amazing time at what will be Jess’s last yoga session with us for a little while, as she gets ready to welcome her beautiful baby boy into the world. 👶💙

As always, Jess manages to bring out the very best in everyone, making each session personal, fun and full of laughter. She always knows how to include everyone’s individual likes and interests, creating such a wonderful atmosphere. 💕✨

Perry, Margaret, Rosemary and Sandy were happily clapping and singing along, while Shirley enjoyed dancing away! Jonathan particularly loved singing “Scarborough Fair”, and he did an absolutely amazing job! 🎶👏

We will miss your visits so very much, Jess. You have become such a special part of the Woodbridge Lodge family, and we are all so grateful for the joy, laughter and wonderful memories you have shared with us. ❤️

We wish you all the very best for the arrival of your beautiful baby boy. We can’t wait to hear all about him and look forward to seeing you again very soon! 👶💙

🌸💐 Flower Arranging Fun! 💐🌸

We had a lovely time getting creative with some beautiful flower arranging! 🌷🌺🌼 Rosemary, Anthea, Margaret B, Linda and Margaret A all got involved, and we had so much fun choosing where all the flowers should go. 🥰💕

We chatted about all the gorgeous colours 🌈🌸 and how beautiful each of the flowers looked. Linda and Anthea were wonderfully organised, helping to arrange everything and supporting everyone with deciding which flowers would look best in each vase. 🌺🪻💐

Anthea thought our arrangements needed a little extra greenery 🌿, so we headed out into the garden to find some lovely foliage to add the finishing touch! 🌿🌱 What a great idea! 👏😊

We were all so pleased with the finished arrangements! 💐🥰 It was lovely seeing everyone admiring their hard work and proudly showing the flowers to others before placing them around the home for everyone to enjoy. 🌸🏡💕

🐾🐶💕 Isla the Therapy Dog Came to Visit! 💕🐶🐾

We were absolutely delighted to welcome our lovely Isla back to Woodbridge Lodge! 🥰🐾 We all enjoyed lots of wonderful cuddles and fuss with her, and she certainly enjoyed all the attention! 🤗💗

It is always so lovely to see Isla and her owners, Ros & Jon. 🐶❤️ We love having a good chat with them and hearing all about what Isla has been getting up to over the past couple of weeks. 🗣️🐾✨

Isla is such a wonderful, calm and gentle girl, and she always settles beautifully when she visits us. 🥰🌸 There were plenty of smiles, cuddles and happy faces all around! 😊💕🐾

Thank you, Ros & Jon, for bringing our gorgeous girl to see us again. We always look forward to her visits and can't wait to see her again soon! 🐶💗🐾

We had a wonderful time at our latest Knit & Natter session with Alison! 🧶💕 We settled into our beautiful lounge area, enjoying some lovely, relaxing classical music 🎶 while chatting together about the knitting projects we were busy creating.

We are so grateful to Alison for coming in to help and support us with our knitting. She is always on hand to offer encouragement, guidance and helpful advice when we need it, as well as enjoying a lovely chat with everyone. 🥰

Our Knit & Natter sessions are always filled with laughter, creativity and plenty of lovely conversation. We really do look forward to seeing Alison and getting our knitting needles out each time! 🧶❤️

🌊🐠 Under the Sea! 🐠🌊

We had so much fun creating our wonderful underwater collage! It was a fantastic team effort, with everyone getting involved and helping to bring our spectacular underwater scene to life. 🎨💙

Rosemary, Margaret and Anthea helped create the splendid underwater background before getting stuck in and helping to cut out all the colourful fish, sea life and seaweed. 🐟🐙🌿

Mike, Shirley, Anthea, June, Rosemary, Sandy, Margaret and Linda all did a fantastic job colouring in the fish, seaweed and jellyfish so beautifully. 🌈🐠🪼

We also had some very much appreciated help from Beulah’s family, who were more than happy to lend a hand and join in with the fun. It was lovely having everyone working together, chatting and enjoying each other’s company. 💕

It really was a true team effort, and everyone was absolutely over the moon with the finished result! It looked fantastic and certainly brought a little bit of the seaside to Woodbridge Lodge. 🌊☀️

A lovely way to spend some time together enjoying the fresh air — although looking at our beautiful underwater scene made us all wish we could jump straight in for a dip in the sea! 😂🏖️🐚

🦉🌞 Minibus Trip to Stonham Barns Owl Sanctuary 🌞🦉

To celebrate National Owl Day, we enjoyed a fantastic minibus outing to Stonham Barns Owl Sanctuary! 🚐💚

We had a wonderful time meeting the many different species of owls, learning fascinating facts about them, discovering where they come from, and admiring their unique personalities and beautiful feathers. 🦉✨

As well as the amazing owls, we loved seeing all the other wonderful animals, including the playful meerkats, curious porcupines, adorable red squirrels, and many more! 🐿️🦔🐾

When it was time for lunch, we relaxed in the lovely educational centre, where it was cool and comfortable—a perfect place to enjoy our packed lunches together while chatting about our favourite animals. 🥪🍎💛

After lunch, we continued exploring and met even more magnificent owls. One very special favourite was Loki, the stunning snowy owl. 🤍🦉 His striking white feathers and calm nature captured all of our hearts, and we couldn't stop talking about how beautiful he was!

It was a truly memorable day filled with laughter, learning, and wonderful company. Days like these create lasting memories, and everyone had an amazing time. We are already looking forward to visiting Stonham Barns Owl Sanctuary again in the future! 💚🚐🦉✨

🎨✨ Creative Mojo Arts & Crafts ✨🎨

We had a wonderfully busy morning with our friends from Creative Mojo, creating a fantastic Great Western Canal project! 🚤🌿

Linda, Rosemary G, Margaret B, Anthea, Shirley and Diana all had a wonderful time designing, sharing ideas, and inspiring one another throughout the session. It was lovely to see everyone getting so involved, working together, and taking such pride in their creations. 🖌️💙

These art sessions are always a highlight of our week. They encourage creativity, conversation, teamwork, and plenty of smiles, while giving everyone the opportunity to express themselves in their own unique way. 🌈🎨

Well done to everyone for producing such fantastic artwork. 👏😊💖

🎉☀️ Woodbridge Lodge Summer Fête 2026 ☀️🎉

What an absolutely amazing day we had at our Woodbridge Lodge Summer Fête! 💙

It was wonderful to see so many people join us to celebrate, with a fantastic selection of stalls selling a variety of beautiful gifts, treats and handmade items. There truly was something for everyone!

A huge thank you to the fantastic Caroline Revell, who kept everyone entertained throughout the afternoon with her wonderful singing. 🎤🎶 Residents, families and friends loved having a dance, singing along and soaking up the lively atmosphere.

It was so heartwarming to see everyone spending quality time with their loved ones, browsing the stalls, enjoying our delicious BBQ and refreshments, and making special memories together. The atmosphere throughout the afternoon was simply incredible, filled with smiles, laughter and community spirit. ❤️

Our games were a huge hit with everyone! From the Coconut Shy 🥥, Tombola, Toad in the Hole, Ring Toss and, of course, the ever-popular Sponge Throwing Stocks, where our brave volunteers Sinead and Ed were great sports! 😂💦 There was plenty of fun and laughter all afternoon.

Our raffle was also a tremendous success, with so many fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses. We are incredibly grateful for their kindness and continued support—it really does make such a difference.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Deputy Mayor for taking the time to attend our Summer Fête. It was a pleasure to welcome him to Woodbridge Lodge, where he spent time meeting our residents, chatting with families and visitors, and kindly helping to draw our raffle. Your support made the day even more special, and we truly appreciate you joining us. 🤝🎉

To finish off a truly wonderful afternoon, we were delighted to enjoy a fantastic performance from the talented Woodbridge School of Dance. 💃✨ Their energetic routines and smiling faces were the perfect finale to a memorable day, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed cheering them on.

Finally, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered and supported Woodbridge Lodge. Thanks to your generosity, we raised an amazing £635! 🎉👏

Every penny raised will go directly towards providing even more activities, entertainment, outings and memorable experiences for our wonderful residents.

Thank you all for helping make this year's Summer Fête such a fantastic success—we can't wait to do it all again next year! 🌞💙
