🌊🐠 Under the Sea! 🐠🌊

We had so much fun creating our wonderful underwater collage! It was a fantastic team effort, with everyone getting involved and helping to bring our spectacular underwater scene to life. 🎨💙

Rosemary, Margaret and Anthea helped create the splendid underwater background before getting stuck in and helping to cut out all the colourful fish, sea life and seaweed. 🐟🐙🌿

Mike, Shirley, Anthea, June, Rosemary, Sandy, Margaret and Linda all did a fantastic job colouring in the fish, seaweed and jellyfish so beautifully. 🌈🐠🪼

We also had some very much appreciated help from Beulah’s family, who were more than happy to lend a hand and join in with the fun. It was lovely having everyone working together, chatting and enjoying each other’s company. 💕

It really was a true team effort, and everyone was absolutely over the moon with the finished result! It looked fantastic and certainly brought a little bit of the seaside to Woodbridge Lodge. 🌊☀️

A lovely way to spend some time together enjoying the fresh air — although looking at our beautiful underwater scene made us all wish we could jump straight in for a dip in the sea! 😂🏖️🐚

🦉🌞 Minibus Trip to Stonham Barns Owl Sanctuary 🌞🦉

To celebrate National Owl Day, we enjoyed a fantastic minibus outing to Stonham Barns Owl Sanctuary! 🚐💚

We had a wonderful time meeting the many different species of owls, learning fascinating facts about them, discovering where they come from, and admiring their unique personalities and beautiful feathers. 🦉✨

As well as the amazing owls, we loved seeing all the other wonderful animals, including the playful meerkats, curious porcupines, adorable red squirrels, and many more! 🐿️🦔🐾

When it was time for lunch, we relaxed in the lovely educational centre, where it was cool and comfortable—a perfect place to enjoy our packed lunches together while chatting about our favourite animals. 🥪🍎💛

After lunch, we continued exploring and met even more magnificent owls. One very special favourite was Loki, the stunning snowy owl. 🤍🦉 His striking white feathers and calm nature captured all of our hearts, and we couldn't stop talking about how beautiful he was!

It was a truly memorable day filled with laughter, learning, and wonderful company. Days like these create lasting memories, and everyone had an amazing time. We are already looking forward to visiting Stonham Barns Owl Sanctuary again in the future! 💚🚐🦉✨

🎨✨ Creative Mojo Arts & Crafts ✨🎨

We had a wonderfully busy morning with our friends from Creative Mojo, creating a fantastic Great Western Canal project! 🚤🌿

Linda, Rosemary G, Margaret B, Anthea, Shirley and Diana all had a wonderful time designing, sharing ideas, and inspiring one another throughout the session. It was lovely to see everyone getting so involved, working together, and taking such pride in their creations. 🖌️💙

These art sessions are always a highlight of our week. They encourage creativity, conversation, teamwork, and plenty of smiles, while giving everyone the opportunity to express themselves in their own unique way. 🌈🎨

Well done to everyone for producing such fantastic artwork. 👏😊💖

🎉☀️ Woodbridge Lodge Summer Fête 2026 ☀️🎉

What an absolutely amazing day we had at our Woodbridge Lodge Summer Fête! 💙

It was wonderful to see so many people join us to celebrate, with a fantastic selection of stalls selling a variety of beautiful gifts, treats and handmade items. There truly was something for everyone!

A huge thank you to the fantastic Caroline Revell, who kept everyone entertained throughout the afternoon with her wonderful singing. 🎤🎶 Residents, families and friends loved having a dance, singing along and soaking up the lively atmosphere.

It was so heartwarming to see everyone spending quality time with their loved ones, browsing the stalls, enjoying our delicious BBQ and refreshments, and making special memories together. The atmosphere throughout the afternoon was simply incredible, filled with smiles, laughter and community spirit. ❤️

Our games were a huge hit with everyone! From the Coconut Shy 🥥, Tombola, Toad in the Hole, Ring Toss and, of course, the ever-popular Sponge Throwing Stocks, where our brave volunteers Sinead and Ed were great sports! 😂💦 There was plenty of fun and laughter all afternoon.

Our raffle was also a tremendous success, with so many fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses. We are incredibly grateful for their kindness and continued support—it really does make such a difference.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Deputy Mayor for taking the time to attend our Summer Fête. It was a pleasure to welcome him to Woodbridge Lodge, where he spent time meeting our residents, chatting with families and visitors, and kindly helping to draw our raffle. Your support made the day even more special, and we truly appreciate you joining us. 🤝🎉

To finish off a truly wonderful afternoon, we were delighted to enjoy a fantastic performance from the talented Woodbridge School of Dance. 💃✨ Their energetic routines and smiling faces were the perfect finale to a memorable day, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed cheering them on.

Finally, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered and supported Woodbridge Lodge. Thanks to your generosity, we raised an amazing £635! 🎉👏

Every penny raised will go directly towards providing even more activities, entertainment, outings and memorable experiences for our wonderful residents.

Thank you all for helping make this year's Summer Fête such a fantastic success—we can't wait to do it all again next year! 🌞💙

🌸🌼 Flower Arranging Morning 🌼🌸

What a wonderful morning we had getting creative with some beautiful fresh flowers! 💐🌷 As we arranged our bouquets, we chatted about all the different blooms, discussing where they might have come from and sharing memories of gardens, favourite flowers, and special occasions they reminded us of. 🌺🌿

Anthea was fantastic at demonstrating how to prepare the flowers, showing everyone how to remove the bottom leaves before arranging them. Her knowledge and guidance helped everyone create their own beautiful displays. 😊👏

There were plenty of smiles as we admired the gorgeous colours, enjoyed the wonderful fragrances, and carefully arranged each stem to create something unique. 🌹🌸 The room was filled with laughter, conversation, and the delightful scent of fresh flowers, making it a truly relaxing and enjoyable activity for everyone. 🌼💛

Well done to everyone for creating such stunning arrangements—they brightened up not only our home but also our day! 💐✨🌷

🐾💙 A Wonderful Visit from Isla the Therapy Dog! 💙🐾

There were lots of smiles around Woodbridge Lodge as we welcomed the lovely Isla back for another special visit! It was wonderful to hear all about her latest adventures, and she certainly enjoyed spending time with everyone. 🐶✨

Rosemary loved giving Isla lots of cuddles while chatting with her wonderful owners, Ros and Jon. 🥰 Perry, Doreen, Shirley, Sandy, Linda, Jonathan, Margaret A, and Margaret B were all delighted to see their furry friend again. Isla's visits are always a highlight, and everyone looks forward to welcoming her back. ❤️

One of the most heartwarming moments of the afternoon was when Jonathan played his guitar especially for Isla. 🎸🐕 She sat so calmly, listening to every note, making it a truly special moment for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you, Ros, Jon, and of course the beautiful Isla, for bringing so much happiness, comfort, and joy to our residents. We can't wait for your next visit! 🐾💖😊

☕🍰 Another Lovely Coffee Morning at Woodbridge Lodge 🍰☕

What a wonderful morning we had at our special Coffee Morning here at Woodbridge Lodge! 💛

Everyone enjoyed taking time to relax, chat with friends, and sip delicious tea and coffee served from our beautiful china tea service, which always makes our special coffee mornings feel that little bit more elegant. ☕🌸

Of course, no coffee morning would be complete without some scrumptious homemade treats! 😋 We tucked into rich fruit cake, chocolate and vanilla cake, and a truly delectable coffee cake. Every slice disappeared quickly, with everyone commenting on just how delicious they were! 🍰🍫✨

Anthea said how much she enjoyed the morning, and Shirley, June, Linda, Rosemary, Margaret B, and Pauline all spent time together in the quiet lounge, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. 🎶 They listened to relaxing music, shared stories, laughed together, and enjoyed each other's company over a lovely cup of tea.

Moments like these remind us that it's often the simple pleasures—good conversation, beautiful surroundings, and a slice of cake shared with friends—that create the happiest memories. ❤️
