Mother Nature Circle 🌳🏕️

Hosting an outdoor circle is always one of the things on my list, and when it happens in the woodland, surrounded by the birds, trees, and breeze... what is more magical than that!

Thanks to all the mamas who showed up, and so much gratitude for the opportunity to be the circle facilitator at the Mother Nature Summer Camp. Sharing space, connection, and community in such a natural setting was a gift💚

Deep listening is ultimately what makes circle special and healing.

When sitting quietly in a circle, you have the opportunity to listen to other people without the need to judge, reply or do anything. You have time to listen what is moving within you, to mirror yourself in other people’s stories. You can decide to share your own story and witness it unfolding, making new sense and seeing it from different perspectives.

I spent last weekend in a workshop exploring my life story—my biography—with a partner who accompanied me through this artistic process. Through paired work, pastel drawing, creative writing, poetry, and bookmaking, my Book of Life was born.

It was an honour to witness my partner’s life story. We were both amazed at how much a painting can reveal.

For me, one of the most meaningful parts was the deep listening my partner offered. In that space, a big aha moment emerged in my journey.

The experience was truly magical 🤍

The Annual AATA (Association of Anthroposophic Therapeutic Arts) Conference

This year’s conference was held at my school, Tobias, and it was an incredible weekend filled with nourishment, inspiration, and excitement.

It was so lovely to connect with some of the school’s graduate students and to learn from one another. We spent a whole day in a creative session exploring the language of fairy tales and creating stories of our own. Once again, I witnessed the power of story as medicine . How we can become the authors of our own lives and reclaim our power through creative and artistic expression.

I received a beautiful gift from my partner, inspired by Bela, the character in my fairy tale :
“The magical power to bring joy and healing where there is pain, the power to trust in oneself and transcend doubt and worry.”

The conference itself felt like a retreat and it is feeding my soul, my heart, and even my stomach.

To close the weekend, I attended an event at Emerson College in memory of the birth of Dr. Ita Wegman. I experienced eurythmy for the first time, to embodying colour, the five-pointed star, letters, and movement as prayer. It was truly magical.

This was my first time attending a Mother Blessing back in last October.

It is my honour to be part of this meaningful ceremony to witness and to support my circle sister.

A Mother Blessing is a gathering to honour the rite of passage into childbirth — a celebration of becoming a mother, or deepening into motherhood.

This is such a beautiful way to honour a special moment in life.

Mother Nature Midwinter Retreat: A Moment of Peacefulness

I’ve experienced online courses, circles, and webinars, yet this was my first time stepping into an online retreat, and it offered a depth I hadn’t expected. I found a moment of peacefulness. First of all, a big thank you to for holding such a beautiful and safe container for us this morning.

Here is the message that came through from my nature quest:

It was so nourishing to pause and spend time outdoors—to breathe the fresh air, listen to the birds singing, light the earth candle in my back garden, and soak up the warm sunlight. Through my nature quest, free drawing became a bridge to my soul, allowing what needed to emerge to gently unfold.
I feel a deep sense of gratitude for this pause for taking time to reflect on the things worth celebrating, both big and small.

Here is a prompt from the retreat that I’d love to pass along:
How do we activate our self-care and exercise the pause button as we move into the spring?
