Please join us on Friday 25th September, from 10.00am to 12.00pm, for a morning of great company, delicious cake and plenty of hot drinks, all in support of the wonderful Macmillan Cancer Support.
Come along, enjoy a cuppa and a slice of something sweet, have a chat, and help us raise as much as we can for this fantastic cause.

Pausing to Light a Candle 🕯️

At Johnson and Daltrey, there is a quiet moment at the heart of every funeral — when our dedicated funeral arrangers, Dana and Ali, pause, light a candle, at the time of each funeral service, this simple act becomes a personal moment of reflection for the person whose funeral they have arranged.

As the two funeral arrangers who have personally guided and supported the family through the arrangements, and walked alongside them from the very beginning, Dana and Ali carry out this moment with deep care and respect.

As the candle is lit, Dana and Ali remember the light they brought into the world.

The candle represents their light.

A small flame.
A moment to pause.
A life honoured.

🪽In Loving Memory of Edna May Howlett🪽

It is with great sadness the family announce the peaceful passing of Edna at Bassett Care Home, Royal Wootton Bassett, on 15th July, aged 89 years.

Edna was a devoted mother to Julie, a much-loved and treasured grandmother to Emily, and a dear friend to many. Her kindness, warmth and gentle nature touched the lives of everyone who knew her, and she will be forever loved and sadly missed.

A Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate Edna's life will be held at North Wiltshire Crematorium, Royal Wootton Bassett, on Wednesday 19th August at 10.30am. All who knew Edna are warmly invited to attend and join the family in remembering her life. Please dress in attire in which you feel comfortable.

Passed away peacefully on 16th July 2026 aged 76 years.
Mick was a loving husband, paps and grampy and friend to many who will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service to take place at St. Bartholomew & All Saints Church, Royal Wootton Bassett on Monday 17th August 2026 @
12.00 noon.
There is no formal dress code, Mick's favourite colour was blue so our team will be wearing blue ties but please feel free to wear what you feel comfortable in.

In loving memory of Sylvia Diana Robins known affectionately as 'Di'.

With heavy hearts and great sorrow, we sadly have to share that our treasured Di has passed away at the age of 91, on Monday 13th July at the Great Western Hospital, Swindon.

A Service of Thanksgiving for Di's life will be held at St Bartholomew & All Saints' Church, Royal Wootton Bassett, on Monday 3rd August at 12.00 noon, followed by a committal at Royal Wootton Bassett Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, in memory of Di will be gratefully received in support of Bransby Horses Rescue & Welfare and Brighter Futures – Saturn Ward.

Di was born and grew up in Cricklade, before marrying Stan in 1953 and moving to his hometown of Royal Wootton Bassett. They started their own milk round together in 1954. Even recently, Di woke early every morning to join her son Mark for an hour or so whilst he delivered milk. Di was a member of St Bartholomew & All Saints Church who always provided her with a warm circle of friendship.
Di was kind, considerate and generous, and was loved dearly by her husband, sons, daughters in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She received wonderful and compassionate care from the staff of Saturn Ward at The Great Western Hospital during her last few weeks. Losing her has left a big hole in our lives and we will miss her immensely.

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Frank Light, who died peacefully at home on 13th July, aged 91.

Frank was known, respected and loved by so many, and he will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Dawn; his daughters, Deborah and Nicola; his son-in-law, Andrew; his cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Alexander, Matthew and Katherine; and his great-grandchildren, Esme, Tabitha, Rosalie and Freddie. He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Service of Thanksgiving for Frank's life will be held at North Wiltshire Crematorium, Royal Wootton Bassett, on Wednesday 12th August at 12.30pm.

There is no formal dress code. Instead, the family invite those attending to wear bright colours in celebration of Frank's life.

It is with great sadness that the family announce the peaceful passing of Albert Bowden, affectionately known as "Alby", at home on 25th June 2026, aged 76 years.

A much-loved husband to Susan, a loving brother to Valerie, brother-in-law to Nigel, Dawn, Wendy and Erica, and a dear friend to many. Alby will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Loving husband to Donna, an amazing dad to Izzie and Haydn and friend to many, he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

There is no formal dress code, the family would like you to wear what you feel comfortable in for the occasion and the weather.
Steve loved a cheesy (dad joke) T-shirt so some of the family will be wearing these at the wake, and you are welcome to join in if you’d like.

Dressed to impress and ready to make memories, they arrived in style and enjoyed a luxury limousine experience on their special night.
