πβ¨ **AUTUMN EQUINOX β A TIME TO LET GO** β¨π
As we move through the **Autumn Equinox**, our focus in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) turns towards the **Metal Element**. πΏ
The Metal Element is associated with the **Lungs (Yin)** and **Large Intestine (Yang)** β two organs with a beautiful theme in common:
β¨ **Gather what is needed**
β¨ **Release what is no longer needed**
And perhaps autumn gives us a gentle reminder that this isn't just something our bodies doβ¦ it can also be something we practise in our everyday lives. π
Look around at nature β the trees begin to **let go of their leaves**, releasing what they no longer need as they prepare for the quieter months ahead. π³π
Maybe we can take a little inspiration from nature and ask ourselves:
π What stress am I holding onto?
π What emotions no longer serve me?
π What am I ready to release?
π What would I like to make space for?
Autumn is a beautiful time for **reflection, grounding and preparation**. πΎ
Through Qigong, we can use gentle movement, breath and mindful intention to help us slow down, reconnect with ourselves and create a little more space β both physically and emotionally. π¬οΈβ¨
So as the leaves begin to fall, perhaps allow yourself to **let go too**β¦
π Release what you no longer need.
π¬οΈ Breathe in what nourishes you.
π Make space for what you truly need.
**Move β’ Breathe β’ Let Go β’ Restore** β¨
