Why do these tekkers work?
As if I've written tekkers - shout out Soccer AM!
Anyway, these are about trying to minimise the need for motivation by adding accountability.
A training partner removes the "can I be arsed" moment. Now you're not bailing on yourself, you're bailing on someone else - most people find that a bit trickier.
A meal plan pre-loads decision-making so you don't need to do it when knackered. Then when it's written down, you're more likely to do it.
An event means you will be on show. Most of us don't want to half-arse it if we're getting judged.
How else could you add accountability to your health and fitness goals?
