Day 3 of Open Care Home Week
Today we hosted an Open Garden Afternoon.
It was a wonderful opportunity for visitors — and for those beginning to plan their future care — to come along and see what life at The Mill House is really like.
The Mill House is built on a supportive, dedicated team who go above and beyond to ensure the very best for every resident.
Leadership and management — the first people new residents meet before moving into the home.
Care staff — providing compassionate, person‑centred support every day, ensuring residents feel safe, valued, and truly at home.
Activities team — providing a wide variety of meaningful activities that promote wellbeing, enjoyment, and achievement.
Housekeeping team — ensuring residents’ personal items and living spaces are cared for with attention and respect.
Maintenance team — offering around‑the‑clock support to keep rooms decorated, personalised, and in good working order.
Catering team — preparing fresh meals and baking delicious treats every day.
The Mill House is more than a care home — it’s a home shaped by the personalities, stories, and little things that make each resident who they are.💙
