Meet Kim.

Kim is a holistic, integrative psychotherapist who works with adults, both individually and as couples.

She has a particular interest in relationships and psychosexual difficulties – areas that can have a significant impact on wellbeing but which many people find difficult to talk about.

Kim offers a warm, non-judgmental space where no topic is off limits. Taking a holistic approach, she considers the whole person, including mind, body, spirit and environment, and tailors her work to the unique needs of each client.

Before training as a therapist, Kim worked in Human Resources, giving her a strong understanding of workplace dynamics and their impact on mental health.

Kim is an accredited member of the BACP and offers sessions face-to-face, online or by telephone.

Please welcome Melissa to the Worcester Therapy team!

Melissa is an integrative therapist which means that she pulls from a range of different modalities to make sure that your work together is tailored to your needs. She draws on relational developmental, person centred, and psychodynamic approaches, as well as looking at your experiences through a wider societal lens.

She believes in building a strong therapeutic relationship to foster trust and co-create a space where you can feel safe and accepted. In your work she aims to honour all parts of you, and meet your experiences with curiosity so that you can explore them together.

She has a particular interest in working with clients to explore the impact of the social systems that we live in, how we internalise societal norms and values, and how these can create challenges in day to day life including isolation, burn out, anxiety, and depression. She often works with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ clients to explore the impact of living in social systems that weren’t designed with you in mind.

She also specialise in supporting clients who have experienced difficulties during childhood, including trauma, abuse and neglect, to understand the impact of your experiences, develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself and reconnect with your needs.
