The Diabetes Rugby Academy is re-starting on Monday 12th April! 😊 The new time will be 16.30 – 18.00 and we will be on A&H pitch (the outside grass next to the car parks, due to Covid guidelines).
Great opportunity to meet other families with diabetes, it is free and no need to book, just turn up!

East of England Children and Young People’s Diabetes Network: Wednesday 17th June 2020
Dear Parents and Carers
We are delighted to be able to invite you to our first virtual teaching seminar for families of children with type 1 diabetes.
This will take place on Thursday 17th July at 7.30pm.
It will be led by Professor Roman Hovorka and his team from the University of Cambridge and will be entitled:
‘An introduction to the CamAPS FX’’
Closed-insulin delivery has been shown improve outcomes and quality of life in people with type 1 diabetes. Professor Hovorka will describe the status of the field focusing on the Cambridge CamAPS FX system which is now available for clinical use from the age of 1 year, see www.camdiab.com”
There will be time to ask questions and discuss the system with Professor Hovorka and his team at the end of the session.
We are very pleased that we are able to share a teaching opportunity about such an exciting new piece of technology with you all.
We are anticipating that interest in this session will be high and therefore we are asking people to register for a place at the seminar. You can do this using the following link:

The meeting is taking place on the Microsoft Teams platform which can be used on laptops, PC, mobile phones and tablets. We will send those who have been successful in getting a place at the seminar a link that will enable you to join the seminar on the 10th July.
