👣 Another good old before and after 👣

This wonderful Lady is 102 and still living in her own home.
I asked when she last had her nails trimmed and she replied ‘how on earth should I know!’
(I’m guessing a year or two!)
After the treatment she said she’ll need to go down a shoe size now.

As a Foot Health Practitioner, I am naturally interested in all styles of footwear and the effect it has on different types of feet 👟

I recently purchased a pair of ‘On’ trainers to try (Swiss engineered no less) and I can absolutely confirm that they are the comfiest thing I have ever put on my feet!🇨🇭

I’ve done just over 80k steps so far this week in these bad boys and they certainly did what they said on the tin…
I am ‘officially’ walking ☁️ ‘On Clouds’ ☁️

Bottom pics… After some gentle thinning down of the nails for his initial appointment (as they were very sore) he felt immediate relief.

This is a day to help raise awareness about the physical and mental challenges of diabetes.

❗️Many people with diabetes have peripheral artery disease (PAD) - which reduces blood flow to the feet, and neuropathy - causing you to not feel your feet at all.
❗️These problems make it easy to get ulcers and infections that may lead to more serious problems.
