Roger came to me because he, like many of us, put on some extra weight in the last year or two. Roger really wanted to get back to his running weight and learn about plant based nutrition. There used to be a time when I could go to the pub of an evening, have a skinfull, get up the following morning and hit the gym hard. The mere thought of that now fills me with dread.

The easiest way to lose weight is to eat less calories. The easiest way to eat less calories is to eat mindfully. The easiest way to eat mindfully is to keep a photo journal or diary of everything you eat and drink. Every time you go to eat or drink something, get your smartphone out and snap a photo of it. Try this for a week and see what effect it has on your body weight.
