Our dietitian Sam shares a little about her work in a private hospital and the impact that it has for the clients there.
Our team works across a variety of settings including care homes, private hospitals and clinics, schools and homes alongside our on site clinic work. This allows us to have a greater impact and be able to help people who may otherwise not be able to access that support.

Today each of our Dietitians at Sunlight Nutrition share a little about their vocation and why they became dietitians.

✨I always knew I wanted to work with people and was drawn to healthcare professions and teaching. I completed an A level in Food Science and Nutrition and found Dietetics when looking at career options that led on from this. For me this is a perfect career, I get to work with different people every day and I can see the difference that good nutrition has on people’s lives. - Sam

✨I chose a career in dietetics because it combines my strong interest in health, food, and nutrition with the opportunity to help people improve their wellbeing. I enjoy supporting individuals to use nutrition positively to manage health conditions and improve quality of life. - Lynda

✨From a young age I was fascinated by the role food played in both fuelling the body and its effect on our health. I always want to know more and questioned what I was told (the sceptical scientist). Dietetics has been a great fit for me combining the science of nutrition and its application to daily living. I love supporting people to get the best out of what they are eating in enjoyment, health and performance.
