If you’ve never been to one before, you might be wondering what to expect…

You simply arrive, get comfortable and give yourself permission to switch off. 🤍

🧘‍♀️ You get comfortable
Bring your mat, blanket and pillow — you’ll spend the session lying down or sitting in whatever position feels most comfortable for you.

🌿 We settle in
I’ll guide you through a gentle relaxation to help you let go of the day and bring your focus back to yourself.

🔔 The sounds begin
Using singing bowls and other therapeutic instruments, I create a calming soundscape for you to simply listen to and receive.

✨ There’s nothing you need to do
You don’t need to meditate perfectly. You don’t need to clear your mind. You don’t even need to stay awake!

Just breathe, relax and allow the sounds to wash over you.

🍂 I’ve started noticing the change in season…

It’s in the little things.

The berries appearing on the trees.
The conkers beginning to fall.
The mushrooms growing beneath the trees.
The mornings feeling a little cooler.
The evenings slowly getting darker.

There’s something about this time of year that makes me want to slow down and notice what’s around me.

Nature doesn’t rush the change.
It simply lets go of what it no longer needs and moves into a new season.

And maybe there’s something we can take from that too 🤎

We don’t always have to keep pushing, holding on or trying to stay where we are.

Sometimes we’re allowed to slow down.
To let go.
To rest.
To make space for what’s next.

Today was my turn on the therapy bed 🤍

I spend so much of my time looking after other people, holding space and encouraging others to slow down and take care of themselves… so today, I decided I needed to do the same.

I had my treatment with the lovely Femke at Femke Williams: a massage followed by Reiki, and honestly, it was just what I needed.

I didn’t realise quite how much I needed to stop, switch off and let someone else look after me for a change.

It’s so easy to keep going, especially when you’re used to being the one who looks after everyone else.

But today was a little reminder that we need filling back up too. 🌿

So yes, even as a holistic therapist, I still need my own time to rest, reset and receive.

And today, that’s exactly what I did. 🤍✨
