I realised that through the use of sound I could be the "Captain of my own ship"; that I could understand the complexity of my emotions and focus on wellbeing and life satisfaction, avoiding ne

gative emotions and symptom relief. It is now my mission to share this simple but life changing tool with others. Sound has no language, gender, race or religious belief; it needs only to be created to be of use and then loved. Through the use of gongs, drums and a variety of other instruments, a platform can be created whereby like minded people of all ages, abilities and beliefs can come together to create a supportive community. Within this safe and nurturing space a person can learn who they truly are, thier strengths and weaknesses, their fears and anxieties and why they make the choices they do and how all this can affect their health and wellbeing. Gaining this priceless and powerful understanding results in a release of anything negative and limiting leading to new beginnings where positive growth is embraced. Confidence grows, along with self-worth and self-belief. Over time a person starts to feel empowered and good about themselves, less fearful and more willing to face new challenges and all that life has to offer. GONGS BY JULIA is about transforming lives, it is a growing community of limitless possibilities where understanding, friendship, support, guidance and connection are guaranteed. At 92 years young.
His wisdom, energy, and mastery of the gong continue to resonate through everyone who has the pleasure of meeting him.

I have had the absolute honour of training under him, and he truly was my beginning with this beautiful instrument.
Without his guidance, patience, and profound teachings, there would be no Gongs by Julia.

COMMUNITY IS BELONGING, SUPPORTING & TOGETHERNESS.

Gongs by Julia has always been about transforming lives.
From the very beginning our plan was to create communities of limitless possibilities where understanding, friendship, support, guidance and connections were guaranteed.

Having gained 'lived experience' through my own personal journey involving ill health and trauma, I had become aware that through the use of sound vibrations I could be the 'Captain of My Own Ship.'

Over time studying Gongs to a Master Level, I had explored the complexity of my emotions and gradually I begun to focus increasingly on wellbeing and life satisfaction; avoiding previous negative emotions and symptom relief.

From that moment on Gongs by Julia’s mission was to share these simple but life changing tools and processes with others.
We wanted to guide others through a personal transformation; one that lead them towards taking ownership of their own physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

THANKS TO OUR COMMUNITY, we are still on that mission and growing from strength to strength. 😃

THE INWARD SHIFT.🍁

Darley Abbey Community Gong Bath - September🎃

The air is crisper, the days feel shorter and the sweet scent of damp earth and woodsmoke blends with the ever changing colours of nature declaring autumn has arrived.🍂

This was a moment to slow our journey down and turn our gaze inward.
As the Earth prepares for hibernation, we rested in the resonance of comfort, warmth and reflection.

This was an evening to align with the natural rhythm of the changing seasons. To take the stillness gift from within the Gongs and know it will remain for the coming winter months. ❄️

🎃 The nights are starting to feel different now and we begin to speak of hibernation, and of the inner journey to stillness and reflection.🍁

🎃 September is the month to welcome in Autumn.
IT IS THE SEASON OF THE SOUL: a time to listen to the whispers of the earth and dive into a place deep within ourselves.
Just as nature and the nights are gradually drawing in all around us, this time of deep introspection is key to beginning the season of Autumn in a clear and focussed way.🍁

🎃 This drawing in is a beautiful opportunity to nurture the inner world of our hopes and dreams and get back on track with anything that got lost along the way in the height of summer.🍁

🎃 It is a time to use the drawing-inwards energy of this time of the year to begin to process all that we have experienced through the year so far, sit quietly with it and learn from it before the months of winter arrive.🍁

LET GO TO LET IN. 🌖

As old dreams, desires, and illusions dissolve, new possibilities begin to take shape, new worlds are slowly being born.

This Eclipse invites you to trust that whatever is leaving your life now is making space for something more aligned with YOU.

As you shed layers and release the known, you will become more receptive to the whispers of intuition guiding you toward what’s coming next.

Emotions you have ignored or neglected, will demand your attention over the next few days.

Those attachments to suffering, the victim mindset, the addictions and the illusions that keep you stuck.
All will need honesty and compassion from you.

Every new beginning requires a release: to move forward, you will need to make space for the future and detach from what no longer resonates with the reality you “truly” aspire to build and experience.❣️

Sudden revelations, unexpected changes of plans, and shifts in perspective are on their way.

And you are asked to remain flexible and open to the unknown.
What once felt stable or predictable may suddenly change, asking you to develop adaptability and maybe let go of your attachment to things unfolding in a certain way.

Surrender to this moment in time.🌖

Trust the process, allow the release to happen, let go of the resistance to change.
Pay attention to your dreams, look out for subtle signs and synchronicities and allow your journey to unfold.

We shared our final outdoor celebration of summer with Barlow sunflowers this weekend.🌻

A dreamy soft evening where golden tones and delicate fragrances blended with the fading light.

Nature’s final lullaby, drifting gently from the warmth of summer into the quiet embrace of autumn. 🍂

A HUGE HEART FELT THANK YOU to everyone who gathered to breathe, rest, and bloom with us this August.
We had the best time meeting such wonderful people. You gave us so many magical memories, it truly was such a pleasure to Gong for you all. 🌻❣️
