Online Safety for Children & Young People 📱
Digital technology is a big part of everyday life, and we all have a role in helping children stay safe online.

Children and young people can face risks such as online bullying, pressure to share personal information, contact from unknown individuals, and harmful content.

How families can help:
✅ Check privacy and safety settings
✅ Use age‑appropriate platforms
✅ Talk openly about online activity
✅ Set clear boundaries for screen use
✅ Encourage children to speak up if something feels wrong

Support and advice are available:
🔹 Thinkuknow – www.thinkuknow.co.uk
🔹 NSPCC – www.nspcc.org.uk/online-safety
🔹 Childline (under 19s) – 0800 1111
🔹 Internet Matters – www.internetmatters.org
Open conversations and early support can make a real difference in keeping children safe online.

The CEOP Education programme from the National Crime Agency's CEOP Education team aims to protect children and young people aged 4-18 from online child sexual abuse.
