Over the last couple of weeks weve had lots of Fun here at Sunhill! ๐Ÿ˜ We have enjoyed Rise seated sports sessions, friendly sporting games with plenty of laughter ๐Ÿ€ Alongside this weve kept active with our own games and exercises, celebrated birthdays and challenged ourselves with puzzles and quizzes ๐Ÿ† Our bingo sessions have been a great success, thanking families for participating too! Wonderful to see everyone joining in and making memories โ™ฅ๏ธ

โœจ What a fantastic evening at the West Sussex Care Accolades Awards 2026! โœจWe are incredibly proud to celebrate the amazing achievements of our team at Sunhill Court Nursing Home๐Ÿ’œ

A huge congratulations to Catalina for winning the Digital & Cyber Award ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ‘ Her incredible video showcased innovation, creativity and the amazing work taking place within the home.

We would also like to congratulate our wonderful Home Manager, Melody, who was Highly Commended in the Excellence in Dementia Care Award ๐ŸŒŸ Such a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the compassionate leadership and care she brings every day.

It was a fabulous evening celebrating alongside so many inspiring people. Thank you to everyone involved in making the night so special! โœจ๐Ÿฅ‚

Busy enjoying lots of games and prize winning activities ๐Ÿ†
We were also delighted to welcome Mr. Magic Hat who put on a lovely performance with both residents and staff joining in as helpers for his amazing magic tricks ๐Ÿ”ฎ

Over the last couple of weeks weve had such a lovely time together with plenty of fun laughter and music ๐ŸŽถ
Residents have enjoyed painting, cake decorating, bingo, balloon and ball games, floor darts and puzzles, brain games along with relaxing mornings in the garden with tea and snacks ๐Ÿ’
Weve celebrated St George's day with Linda our favourite pianist, singing songs such as 'There will always be an england!' Followed by a wonderful VE day celebration with Alex on the guitar performing much loved war time classics including aongs by Vera Lynn. ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

Weve had such a fun week! Alongside our usual bingo sessions, weve enjoyed lots of card games and dominoes - bringing out a competitve spirit ๐Ÿƒ
One of our highlights was a fantastic visit from Rise seated sports where we took part in a lively cricket match! A great way to get everyone moving ๐Ÿ€
We have also kept our minds busy with plenty of quizzes ๐Ÿ˜
We were delighted to welcome Maggie from the local church for a lovely belated Easter Singalong. Singing some special requests, making it extra special ๐ŸŽถ
We enjoyed another heart warming visit from Dolly the Pat dog and her trainer Elaine who spent time with the residents ๐Ÿ•
Lots of joy and smiley faces!
Not forgetting some creativity this week decorating our very own material shopping bags and working on St Georges Day paintings to decorate the lounge ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

We've enjoyed a fantastic mix of activities this Easter from cake making to painting, keeping active with our exercises and board games. Lots of prizes have been won too alongside our regular bingo and a special Easter sing a long and boogie with DJ Keith and of course lots of chocolate ๐Ÿฃ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฐ

We've had a lovely time over the last week celebrating right from st patricks day and into the start of spring ๐Ÿ’
St patricks celebrations were full of music and joy with Alex joining us on the guitar and vocals playing a wonderful mix of lively songs ๐ŸŽถ Including some irish favourites, plenty of toe tapping and singing along with smiles all round ๐Ÿ€
Along side the music our residents have been getting creative with paintings of Leprechauns and shamrocks and lots of greenery to brighten up our lounge ๐Ÿ’š
Of course our much loved bingo sessions have been in full swing too ๐Ÿ† We would like to say a big thank you to all the families who come in and help. Your support means more residents can join in, making it extra special for everyone ๐Ÿฅฐ
As we look ahead to Easter weve started some beautiful seasonal crafts ๐Ÿฃ Paintings of bunnies and chicks, some handmade easter cards and a wonderful spring art project using real flower petal and lambs wool to create textured sheep pictures ๐Ÿ‘
Lots of creativity and laughter along the way! โ™ฅ๏ธ
