🚑 Today we joined forces with the fantastic team at Amberley Lodge Care Home for our Emergency First Aid and Basic Life Support training. 💙
Working together, we refreshed essential lifesaving skills through practical, hands-on scenarios, building the confidence and knowledge needed to respond effectively in an emergency.
At Willett Lodge, we are committed to continuous learning and ensuring our team is always equipped to provide the highest standard of safe, compassionate care.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and to the Amberley Lodge team for a great day of learning and teamwork! 👏

🌻 Sunflower Competition Update! 🌻
It's been a few weeks since we planted our sunflower seeds, and we thought it was time for a little progress report!
Some of our sunflowers are absolutely thriving... others are trying their very best... and then there's mine, which I'm convinced came from a packet of dud seeds! 🤣🌱
It's amazing watching them all grow at their own pace, and we can't wait to see who ends up with the tallest sunflower and those beautiful blooms. 🌻💛
Keep cheering them on... we'll be back with another update soon. Fingers crossed mine decides to wake up! 😂🤞

A huge thank you to Sussex Seaside Events Ice Cream Van for visiting Willett Lodge today and treating our wonderful residents and hardworking staff to a well-deserved ice cream in this beautiful weather. ❤️
There were smiles all around, plenty of laughter, and some very serious decisions to be made... flake or no flake? (We're pretty sure the flakes won! 😉)

The shops are coming to Willett Lodge... and we can't wait! ✨
On Monday 10th August at 2:00pm, we'll be welcoming Linnies Fashion & Linen for an afternoon of shopping, smiles, and maybe a little bit of spoiling ourselves! 👗👜👚
Our residents can enjoy browsing gorgeous clothes and lovely linens without even leaving the comfort of Willett Lodge. No queues, no parking, no stress... just fabulous fashion brought right to our lounge! 💖
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family and friends, we'd love you to join us! Come along, enjoy the fun, help your loved one pick out a new favourite outfit, or simply cheer them on as they find something that makes them feel amazing. Because everyone deserves to feel fabulous! ✨

With the hot weather and weather warnings currently in place, we wanted to reassure all our families that the wellbeing, comfort, and safety of our residents remain our highest priority.
Our team is working hard to keep everyone cool, comfortable, and hydrated throughout the day. We are encouraging regular drinks, offering extra refreshments and ice lollies, keeping rooms and communal areas as cool as possible, and closely monitoring all residents for any signs of heat-related illness.
Please rest assured that we are taking every precaution to ensure your loved ones remain safe and comfortable during this warm spell. If you are visiting, feel free to join us in encouraging your loved one to enjoy an extra drink or two!
A huge thank you to our dedicated team, who continue to go above and beyond to provide exceptional care, whatever the weather.
