When Kelly Smith-Forshaw says she’s testing our ni**le prosthetics, she REALLY means testing them. 😂⚔️💦

Forget a gentle shower and a careful week at home. Kelly decided the only sensible way to test the adhesive was to stick a prosthetic ni**le to her chest, dress as a Viking and throw herself into a water race in extreme heat.

Because… well, Kelly. 😂

The challenge? To put the adhesive through its paces and see whether our prosthetic ni**les really can remain securely in place for up to a week, through everyday life and quite a bit more besides.

Heat ☀️
Water 💦
Sweat 💪
Viking warfare ⚔️
One very determined ni**le. 😂

For something designed to help restore confidence after breast surgery, the details matter enormously. That’s why Kelly tests, develops and pushes things far beyond what most people would consider a normal day at the office.

✨ I thought this was such a fun way to show a little behind the scenes of how I create my hyper-realistic ni**le and ar**la prosthetics.

Most people don’t even realise these exist, yet they can make such a huge difference to someone’s confidence.

Each prosthetic can be:
🤍 Individually colour matched
🤍 Made from a mould of your own ni**le (where possible) or from my range of bespoke shapes and sizes
🤍 Applied using a medical-grade adhesive
🤍 can gym, sunbathe and even swim without the fear of them falling off
🤍 Removed, cleaned and reapplied again and again

Although they’re most commonly used after a mastectomy or breast reconstruction, they can also help people with:
• Congenital absence or underdeveloped ni**les
• Inverted ni**les
• Trauma or burn injuries
• Correcting asymmetry
• Gender-affirming care
• Cosmetic confidence for those wanting a more natural appearance without surgery

Behind every realistic prosthetic ni**le, ar**la tattoo and medical camouflage treatment is something most people never see...

COLOUR. And lots of it.

What looks like a giant paint chart casually draped across a patient's chest is actually part of the science, artistry and obsession that goes into achieving the most natural result possible.

No two people are the same.

Skin tones vary.
Undertones vary.
Ar**las vary.
Scars vary.
Healing varies.

And that's exactly why colour matching is one of the most important parts of what Kelly does.

In fact, Kelly has become so passionate about getting the perfect shades that she's currently working with The Finishing Touches Group on a brand new medical pigment range. 🎉
