Today was part 2 of our Group Project Silk Painting - we had previously painted fish into the pre-dyed silk; today we embellished the background and added some sparkle!
The final step is for Bethan to attach the silt to two dowels top and bottom so that we can hang our wall hanging…
You’ll be able to see it when it’s finished at our exhibition in December…

Today we started our second group work project - it was abstract silk painting with Bethan - a two-week project to create a wall hanging for our upcoming exhibition.

We also have a new temporary venue at Tommy’s Community Kitchen, thanks to Jeanette Compton , while the Montague Gallery host their summer exhibition

Next week we’ll be making decoupage birds…

We are at Tommys Community Fun Day with The Big Co-op Picnic at Beach House Park from 10-4pm making a giant teapot to go in Tommy's Community Kitchen and Bakery!
