🔦 Spotlight of the Week 🔦

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on our brilliant Flying Start team, who host a wonderful weekly Chatterbox group here in the Hub. Our Fridays are always brighter thanks to the tiny patter of feet, cheerful giggles, and the big smiles on our visiting toddlers. 👶

Wrexham Flying Start is a Welsh Government–funded programme supporting children from birth up to their 4th birthday, along with their parents and carers, in specific areas of Wrexham. The programme is all about giving children the very best start in life, helping to nurture their early development and wellbeing.

A key part of this support is the Language and Play programme, available to all Flying Start families. Through songs, rhymes, stories and play, children build their speaking and listening skills in a fun, relaxed environment. Parents and carers can join Language and Play sessions through childcare settings, Chatterbox groups, Let’s Talk With Your Baby sessions, or even at home.

We love having the Flying Start team with us each week — and we love seeing our Hub filled with so much joy, learning and community spirit. 🏡
