It’s one of the simplest things we teach AND one of the most powerful

Children are often much more capable in an emergency than we give them credit for. With a little practice, even a young child can learn to call 999, say what’s needed, and give an address.

It’s not about scaring them, it’s about handing them a superpower: knowing that if something ever goes wrong, they know exactly what to do.

We build this into our children’s classes through games and role-play, so it sticks without ever feeling frightening 💚

World Breastfeeding Week 2026

Our journey wasn’t straight forward but I’m glad we kept at it and 21 months later we’re still going.

I actually thought our journey was coming to an end this week as Polly didn’t want her usual morning feed 2 days in a row but then she decided she did want it. The body is amazing how it adapts 💗

Grateful to my body for allowing me to bring my baby girl into this world and to feed her 🥰

My little girl was 5 months old and we were coming up to weaning. Like most parents, I had one worry sat quietly in my mind, choking. So I booked myself onto a parent and carer first aid class, just to feel a bit more prepared.

I walked out calmer than I’d felt in months. A few weeks later, that same franchise came up for sale and I just knew. I didn’t buy a business that day. I bought a way to give other parents that exact same feeling of relief.

It was also the career I didn’t know I needed. Flexible, fulfilling, built around my family rather than instead of it. Never about the money. Always about helping people feel ready.
