Went into this wanting sub 1:50 turns out I should believe in myself as much as my coach does. His pre run words of wisdom “don’t be a fanny” seem to resonate 😂🤣

PB for too! Big well done to everyone especially the guys from 🤩

Social media has made genuinely impressive fitness achievements look “normal.”

Running a sub 20 minute 5km is fast.
Not average.
Not casual.

But because our feeds are full of elite runners, fitness influencers and highlight reels, people start thinking they’re behind when they’re actually doing fine.

Most people aren’t training twice a day.
Most people aren’t running PBs every weekend.
Most people are trying to fit training around work, stress, family, injuries and everyday life.

So if you’re building confidence, improving your fitness, showing up consistently or just trying to enjoy training again — you’re doing better than you think.

A 5km at any pace still counts.
Your training only needs to make sense for YOU. ❤️💪🏼

Don’t forget what you’ve already achieved.

What you’ve achieved now is probably something you would’ve dreamed about not long back.

Be proud of where you are at and what you’ve achieved so far.
