Today is Balloons to Heaven Day. Providing a day of remembrance for those who have lost a loved one.

Today marks a space of grief, memory and hope. Originally set aside for people in America who have lost someone due to gun violence, it has become a symbolic day across the world.

Today is Samaritans Awareness Day. Chosen to reflect the 24/7 availability of their helpline for anyone who is struggling. Today aims to raise awareness around the importance of open conversations around emotional well being and reducing the stigma or reaching out for help.

The Samaritans are this year's President's Charity of The Year and our National President Clive Pearson, along with some of his team and friends took on the 3 peaks in June in what was some horrendous weather, in order to raise money for them.

Please show your support for this charity and donate via the link below.

πŸ’™ HUMANITARIAN AID UPDATE: A Massive Thank You! πŸ’›
The British Institute of Funeral Directors (BIFD) would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Landican Crematorium for their incredible generosity in responding to our appeal for humanitarian aid for Ukraine.
Thanks to their swift support, 600 body bags were donated to the cause.
A special shoutout to BIFD member Skye Knight, who took the time to collect the donation and safely deliver it to Tim at St Andrews Motor Company, helping get this crucial transport moving from Huddersfield to Ukraine.
It’s amazing to see our community come together to support those in need. Thank you to everyone involved for making this happen! πŸ‘πŸšš
