A day to raise awareness of cardiac arrest
A day to learn CPR
A day to learn how to use the AED

I’m chuffed to bits to say that I will be visiting 6 local venues that have kindly agreed to host a first aid session for our local community.

This is completely FREE!!
Yes, FREE
What’s the catch? No catch, I’d like my local community to feel that little bit more confident and also competent in handling a situation that may require CPR.

Due to a very late cancellation I have spaces available on the Level 3 EFAW - TOMORROW 22nd July at Middlesbrough Golf Club, Brass Castle Lane. 9am!

£50 per person

If you don’t KNOW or feel confident on exactly how to:
Stop a life threatening bleed
Give good CPR and use the AED
Identify medical conditions that require immediate intervention
Then this is for you!!

It’ll be a practical day of training with your chance to get hands on experience with the equipment, refresh your knowledge and gain new information but most importantly you’ll leave feeling empowered to help and more confident because you’ll be more competent.

🩸 From 4 bleed kits to 50 – and in 8 months! That's a remarkable achievement

Thank you to Tim and Hands on Heart Training for raising awareness in the county and congratulations on the installation of the latest public access bleed control kit at The Golden Lion Hotel in Northallerton.

💚 Seven months ago, Tim identified a gap in publicly accessible bleed kits across North Yorkshire. This latest installation marks the county's 50th kit, helping more communities become better prepared for emergencies. Just as importantly, the initiative has helped deliver first aid and trauma training to more than 100 people from over 30 local businesses.

The second fantastic example on our socials this week of how one person can spark change and inspire others to champion public safety.

Hello everyone.

Firstly, thanks so much for your support for my small business, your likes, shares and comments help in more ways than one.

Things have been tough since losing my sister and I’ve tried to carry on. Earlier this week I experienced another devastating loss and I’ve decided I need some time for myself.

I will still be walking the coast to coast in a weeks time, with more than one memory helping me along.

I will reply to messages / enquiries in time and I hope to see you all soon.

Next course open to all: Friday 19th June.

Taking an EFAW course ensures that you meet legal requirements for workplace safety under the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Beyond compliance, it builds confidence, upskills you and your team, and gives you the ability to save a life at work or in your everyday community.

I know first aid training isn’t for everyone, people find it daunting or even boring. My job is to change that and help you gain new skills and feel powerful enough to step in when someone nearby needs helps.
