What fun it was to meet and chat with Joanita Musisi at BBC York today. It was lovely to meet the team there and continue to raise awareness around publicly accessible bleed kits in North Yorkshire.

Taking an EFAW course ensures that you meet legal requirements for workplace safety under the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Beyond compliance, it builds confidence, upskills you and your team, and gives you the ability to save a life at work or in your everyday community.

I know first aid training isn’t for everyone, people find it daunting or even boring. My job is to change that and help you gain new skills and feel powerful enough to step in when someone nearby needs helps.

Feel Good Friday: It’s been almost 8 months since I began raising awareness of Bleed Kits and the lack of them in North Yorkshire - just 4 in the county back in November 2025. Fast forward to today - there are now 50 kits and the numbers continue to grow!! Way to go North Yorkshire!!
