Our residents were really enjoying watching Trooping the colour this morning💂🏾💂🏻‍♂️💂🏾💂🏻‍♂️💂‍♀️👑👑. They were excitingly sharing memories from their childhoods, little brothers being dressed up in uniforms by their mums, how family members would stand up when God save the Queen was played Etc.
Some of our residents started stomping their feet🦶🦶 and swinging their arms, imitating marching to the band music being played🥁🥁🎺🎺

This morning we had a buffet for our Carers to show our appreciation we are very greatful for our Carers and we had a laugh playing don’t hit the same colour challenge ❤️

This afternoon we celebrated G.H Birthday and we played roulette this afternoon everyone thought it was fixed when I win 3 times 🤣🤣

Today is the start of ” Carers week “. To show our appreciation 👏👏👏👏for the hard work our Carers do, we spent a little time playing a fun game with them.
They enjoyed the game and it brought some well deserved laughter to the home. 🤣🤣🤣

Well done to everyone who took part in today’s game, I hope your looking forward to other games and challenges throughout the rest of the week.

We would like to extend our appreciation to all the Carers out there, whether you work in a care home or are looking after a friend or relative who couldn’t manage without you.❤️❤️
