☕✨ A lovely morning out at Westlands! ✨☕

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful trip to Westlands Yeovil for their coffee morning, giving everyone the chance to relax, chat, and enjoy a change of scenery.

Pat and Joan both said they had a wonderful time and really appreciated getting out and enjoying a different environment. It's amazing how a simple outing can brighten the day and create such lovely memories.

It was also a fantastic surprise to spot a framed photograph on the wall featuring some of our residents and staff! It brought plenty of smiles and made the visit even more special. 💙

Thank you to everyone at Westlands for your warm welcome and hospitality, we're already looking forward to our next visit!

We were delighted to be invited as one of the Yeovil Town FC 's proud sponsors to enjoy a fantastic matchday experience! ⚽💙

The day included watching the game, a tour of the grounds, a lovely lunch, and the opportunity to meet some of the club's members. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

One of the highlights was getting to see the brand-new season's football kit. Our residents, Terry and Mike, especially loved this, as they were both dedicated season ticket holders. It brought back so many happy memories and sparked some wonderful conversations about the team they have supported over the years.

A huge thank you to everyone at the club for making us feel so welcome. We had an amazing day and truly appreciated your hospitality!

🌸🧺 Celebrating community, connection and all things blooming! 🌿

Last week, two of our residents enjoyed a wonderful Yeovil in Bloom Community Picnic at Yeovil Country Park, celebrating the judging day for this year’s competition.

We were delighted to support Cookson's Court’s entry into Yeovil in Bloom and loved spending time with members of the community, sharing stories, laughter and a lovely afternoon together.

The event was made even more special with the attendance of the Mayor, MP Adam Dance, and a judge from South West in Bloom. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the hard work, creativity and community spirit that makes Yeovil such a wonderful place.

We were so proud to be part of this special occasion and look forward to continuing to support local events that bring generations and communities together. 🌺💚

😂☀️ Laughter really is the best medicine!

Yesterday, we made the most of the sunshine with an afternoon of garden games, including the hilarious Granny Pants Game! 🩲🎾

Our staff bravely donned the oversized granny pants while residents put their aim to the test, throwing balls and seeing how many they could catch. There were plenty of cheers, lots of friendly competition and endless laughter all around.

To make things even funnier, our Manager joined in too, much to everyone's delight! Seeing everyone laughing together and sharing such joyful moments made for a truly memorable afternoon.

Days like these remind us that it's the simple things—fun, laughter and spending time together—that create the happiest memories. 💚

We had a truly special visit here at Cookson’s Court with our birds of prey experience 🦉✨

Three beautiful owls came to visit us, giving residents the chance to see them up close and even feel just how soft their feathers are – a wonderful sensory moment for everyone 💛

It was a lovely day filled with smiles, curiosity and amazement, and such a joy to share something so unique together.

We had a wonderful Father’s Day celebration 💙

Our talented saxophone player joined us to give a fantastic performance, helping us show our gentlemen just how much they’re appreciated. The music filled the home with joy, bringing everyone together for a truly special afternoon 🎷✨

There was plenty of singing, dancing and smiles all round, making it a celebration to remember!

🌼🌿 Summer Gardening Fun! 🌿🌼

Our residents have been thoroughly enjoying a variety of summer gardening activities over the past few weeks, making the most of the sunshine and bringing even more colour and life to our home.

Many residents have taken great pride in helping to care for and nurture our plants, ensuring they are well-watered and thriving throughout the warmer weather. It's been wonderful to see their dedication and enjoyment as they watch the garden flourish.

Others have been getting creative by designing beautiful flower arrangements, using seasonal blooms to create vibrant displays that brighten our communal spaces and bring smiles to everyone who sees them. 💐

The creativity didn't stop there! Residents have also been painting plant pots and decorations, adding unique designs and splashes of colour that have helped make our home even more cheerful and welcoming. 🎨🌸

These activities not only help us enjoy the outdoors but also encourage creativity, wellbeing, and a sense of achievement. We are so proud of all the wonderful contributions our residents have made.
