🧼 Soap Making Fun! 🌸✨

This morning we got creative making our very own soaps, choosing from a lovely selection of colours and scents. 🌈🌺

It was a wonderful sensory activity, giving everyone the chance to explore different smells, colours and textures while getting creative. The Lodge was filled with beautiful aromas as everyone chose their favourite scents to add to their soap bases! 🫧💜
A lovely morning of creativity, sensory fun and plenty of gorgeous-smelling soaps! 😊

NOMINATE A CARE HOME FOR A FREE BRAMBLE VISIT! 💚

Summer is always our busiest time of year, which means Bramble or Conker haven’t managed as many care home visits as we’d like!

So, as things start to calm down, we’re looking for 3 care homes to visit completely FREE, funded through the Bramble Fund. 🦖❤️

📍 Visits will take place w/c 31st August or 7th September

We’d especially love to hear about homes where a Bramble visit could make a real difference to residents.

As these complimentary visits are supported by the Bramble Fund, the selected homes must be happy for us to capture some of the visit for Dinomania’s social media. Residents will only ever be filmed or photographed with the appropriate consent, and anyone who doesn’t wish to appear can still enjoy meeting Bramble.

We’ll choose 3 nominated care homes and get in touch to arrange their visit.

✨ We’re On Top of the World! 🎶

This morning we welcomed the wonderfully talented Shelley to The Knoll for her fabulous Carpenters tribute show! 🎤🌟

Our residents had the best time singing and dancing along to some much-loved songs from yesteryear. With some recent sad losses in our Knoll family, it was lovely to come together, enjoy each other’s company and share some smiles, laughter and happy moments. ❤️

We certainly needed a little midweek pick-me-up, and Shelley delivered just that! What a wonderful Wednesday we’ve had. 💃🕺🎶

🧀🌿 Cheese Tasting & A Trip to the Garden Centre! ☕️🌸

This morning we enjoyed a relaxing time in The Lodge, sampling some tasty cheese and crackers, which went down a treat! 😋
We also had some mindful painting taking place alongside it. 🎨

Meanwhile, one of our gentlemen enjoyed an outing to our local Brimsmore Garden Centre, with a little retail therapy, plenty to see and of course tea and cake! ☕️🍰

Another lovely day of fun and relaxation.❤️

🪴 Upcycling Plant Pots! 🎨

Over the last couple of days, we’ve been getting creative and upcycling some of our garden plant pots! 🌿

Using chalk and acrylic paints, our residents experimented with different techniques, from sponging to brush painting, creating some wonderfully colourful effects. 🎨✨
We can’t wait to fill them with some beautiful plants very soon! 🌸🌱

Our residents and staff are always so happy to see her, and it’s wonderful to see the smiles, singing and happy memories that music brings. 🎤😊

Ever wondered what our residents used to do before life at The Knoll? 🤔
We’ve been taking a trip down memory lane as our residents reveal the jobs they once had! 🎥✨

It was fascinating hearing their stories, chatting about their working lives and reminiscing about the fond memories they made along the way. ❤️

🎸 Rock ‘N’ Roll Rewind! 🎶

This morning we welcomed the wonderful Jordan from Mini Concerts for a morning of rock ‘n’ roll favourites! ✨

Our residents (& staff!) had a brilliant time singing, dancing and shaking their pom-poms along to songs that brought back plenty of happy memories and nostalgia. ❤️
Music is such an important part of life at The Knoll, helping to spark memories, lift moods and bring everyone together and today certainly did just that! 🎶😊

What a fantastic way to round off the week! 💃🕺
