🚔👮 “’Ello, ’ello, ’ello… what’s going on here then?” 👮🚔

We had a wonderful afternoon yesterday when David from The Mobile Police Museum paid us a visit, bringing a little bit of policing history right to our doorstep!

As a former police officer, David shared fascinating stories and brought along an incredible collection of artefacts and memorabilia from policing through the ages. Our residents were thoroughly engaged as they explored the items, tried on some of the equipment and discovered how policing has changed over the years.

A huge thank you to David for such an informative and enjoyable visit. We had a brilliant time and the verdict from our residents was clear… case closed: it was a fantastic afternoon! 🚓✨

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome Bryan Mills Funeral Directors of Dignity Funerals, who kindly brought along their wonderful charity organ for our residents to enjoy.

With the sun shining, everyone loved sitting outdoors, listening to the playful tunes and soaking up the atmosphere. There is something really nostalgic about listening to an organ - it felt like we were stepping back in time!

A huge thank you to Bryan Mills Funerals for taking the time to visit us and bring so much joy to our residents. We hope to welcome you back again soon! 💜

Sometimes it's the simplest of afternoons that become the most treasured. 💜

Yesterday, we enjoyed a lovely visit to one of our favourite places, Burnby Hall Gardens. With the sunshine on our faces, we spent time strolling through the beautiful gardens before sitting back to relax with glasses of wine and delicious ice creams. ☀️🍷🍦

These special outings are about so much more than a change of scenery- they create moments of happiness, encourage connection and make wonderful memories together.

A truly beautiful afternoon that left us all smiling. 🌸

🚑 What a fantastic day yesterday at Lavender Fields Care Village in the East Riding of Yorkshire! 🌿

We were delighted to deliver our Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course for one of our valued regular clients. 🤝

It was brilliant to see everyone so engaged throughout the day, especially during the practical sessions where the delegates really got stuck in and developed their life-saving skills. 👏⛑️

This nationally recognised one-day qualification gives workplace first aiders the knowledge and confidence to respond to emergencies, including:

❤️ CPR & AED (Defibrillator)
🩸 Management of bleeding
🫁 Choking
🚨 Incident management
🩹 Minor injuries

It also helps organisations meet their legal first aid requirements, with certificates valid for three years. ✅

A huge congratulations to everyone who completed the course! 🎉
