🎶 Bringing Music, Memories & Smiles to Our Local Care Homes 🎶

Yesterday, the team at J. Rymer Funeral Directors had the absolute pleasure of visiting Meadowbeck Care Home Mossdale Residence Care Home and Birchlands Care Home - Haxby with our beautiful Musical Charity Organ.

It was wonderful to see so many residents singing along, reminiscing and enjoying an afternoon filled with timeless music and entertainment. Moments like these remind us just how powerful music can be in bringing people together and creating lasting memories.

A heartfelt thank you to all the residents for your warm welcome, wonderful company and fantastic singing, and to the dedicated staff teams at each care home for your kindness, hospitality and all that you do every day to support those in your care.

We are proud to be part of our local York community and look forward to visiting again soon. 💙

🎈 Smiles, laughter and Quizzes!
Our team from J. Rymer Funeral Directors had a wonderful morning visiting the fantastic residents at Ouse View Care Home - Barchester Healthcare , York, where we enjoyed a fun quiz and some balloon modelling.

It was a pleasure to see so many smiles as residents watched the balloons being created before choosing one to take back to their rooms. From balloon dogs to flowers and butterflies, there was plenty of laughter and conversation throughout the morning.

Being part of our local community means so much to us, and we're always grateful for opportunities like these to spend time with residents and create enjoyable memories together.

A huge thank you to everyone at Ouse View Care Home for such a warm welcome. We had a brilliant time and look forward to visiting again.
