Founder’s Day Weekend 2026

Join us to celebrate the teachings of Zen Master Seung Sahn at our Founder’s Day Sangha Weekend at the Providence Zen Center. Our ceremonies will be the Founder’s Day Ceremony and a Precepts Ceremony. There will be lots of community meditation practice, food, and musical performances!

Hello friends, our group currently practices under the guidance of Zen Master Dae An (Bogumila Malinowska). We use zoom meetings to connect with Dae An as she lives in London currently and the rest of us meet in person at Miller's Yard. The website below has more information about our teacher and have regular events like retreat days (Zen day) and online practice.

About Zen Practice. Formal Zen practice in our tradition is done in four ways: bowing, chanting, sitting meditation and Kong-an interviews.
