Hello hello.
I am back!

2 weeks of spending time in two beautiful countries; Croatia and Italy.
2 weeks of listening to languages I don’t understand but that sound wonderful
2 weeks of exploring new places
2 weeks of absolutely enjoying the local cafes, bars, restaurants
2 weeks of confirmation that I don’t need anything fancy but smiles, good company, laughter.

It’s been fabulous, I am grateful I had the opportunity to go abroad and I am now adjusting to changes that are coming (and I don’t just mean the weather).

I’ll be sharing more about my Rituals of Relaxation mini retreat and some exciting Tropic news in another post but for now, here are a few more photos I want to share with you. X

Happy Monday!

There’s something about being near water or sitting somewhere and watching the sunset that has always felt magical to me.

I don’t know exactly what it is. Maybe it is the stillness. The fact that there is nothing to do but sit, watch, breathe, and take in the beauty around you. Somehow, it makes everything feel a little quieter and calmer.

The first photo was taken at Brijuni National Park, a beautiful place in Istria. The second is a little collection of the spectacular sunsets we are lucky enough to watch from here almost every day.

Sometimes, doing nothing is exactly what we need. X

I could just post scenic photos and tell you how beautiful Istria is but what makes me truly happy is the time together with the two people I love the most.

Playing games, having a non fancy drink, conversations, laughter and the absolute appreciation of having the chance to be able to be where we are and to enjoy Istria.

No fixed agenda, a few ideas (some better than others), and living in the present moment.

This is my kind of holiday, how about you?

When I was a child I dreamed of being a Popstar.

I gave myself the “celebrity name” of Birgit (really???) and used my skipping rope many times as a microphone.

Today whilst eating a delicious ice cream I couldn’t help but pretending the ice cream cone was a microphone for me to sing along to Hey Jude.

The only thing though was I managed to forget I was not the only one standing there. I also didn’t expect Michael to take a video but here we go; 5sec of fame 😂😂😂.

Thought you might like a bit of entertainment….
