On May 22, 2026, the Ministry to Persons with Disabilities (MPWDs) Headquarters together with the Koforidua and Effiduase Sectors visited the Koforidua School for the Deaf and donated assorted items worth GHC 20,000.00 to support the school and its students.
The outreach was carried out under the leadership of Pastor Alexander Nyame, National Coordinator of MPWDs, alongside Pastor Micheal Opoku and Mrs. Mercy Opoku, Pastor Ruben Peter Wuni, members from the MPWDs National Office,Ps Emmanuel Owusu Kissi (Headmaster PPS) and the Koforidua Sector and Area MPWDs Committee.
Items donated included rice, corn, yam, gari, millet, soya beans, benches, and stationery to aid teaching and learning in the school.
Beyond the donation, the team spent meaningful moments fellowshipping, praying, and sharing words of encouragement with both students and teachers, bringing joy and hope to the school community.
