#2018

This is what Freedom Aid Ghana has always stood for, closing the gap between healthcare knowledge and the communities that need it most.

In 2018, F.A.G collaborated with Kingdom Expression Ministries Worldwide, to bring free health education and screening to the Ankonam Community in Oyarifa.

Eight years later, that mission has not changed. We are still showing up. Still educating. Still screening. Still saving lives one community at a time.

In Ghana, 1 in every 4 people are living with hypertension? Even more, 3 out 10 Ghanaians living in urban areas suffer from hypertension (High Blood Pressure).

Hypertension often shows no symptoms until it becomes dangerous.

Right now, millions of Ghanaians may be living with high blood pressure without even knowing it. This is why it is called the silent killer.

This World Hypertension Day, Freedom Aid Ghana encourages everyone to check their blood pressure regularly. Don’t wait until it is too late.

Prevention will always be better than cure. ❤️

When was the last time you checked your blood pressure? Share with us in the comments below. 👇

? Throwback to our First Project

Every great mission has an origin story and ours begins in a village.

In 2008, our founder Bright Adoboe returned home to Ve Deme, Volta Region, and found women dying from undetected fibroids. That visit changed everything.

His research, his purpose and his refusal to look away became Freedom Aid Ghana.

Today, 50,000+ lives across Ghana have been touched.

"Freedom is when purpose is found and pursued." Bright Adoboe

There is no greater reward than seeing a life saved because the right care was available at the right time.

For many mothers, the Surgical Theatre established by Freedom Aid Ghana is more than a building, it is a center where life begins safely

It represents the "Freedom" to give birth without fear, knowing that life-saving infrastructure is finally within reach
