HeRN Sponsors Its Members to Attend the 2023 UHAS Research Conference
The Health Research Nexus (HeRN), formed by an undergraduate, Aishah Fadila Adamu, is an undergraduate focused network, providing platforms for undergraduates to nurture their research skills. The network raised funds to fully sponsor 6 of its members to attend the just ended 2023 UHAS Research Conference which came off from November 24-26, 2023. During the Conference, the members got exposed to and discussed research done by renowned researchers, networked and reignited their passion for research.
Recounting their experiences at the conference, they said:
“I got a rare opportunity to meet various researchers, research enthusiasts and people with higher academic profiles at the conference. I realized the importance of programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
